Carolina Family Orthodontics is looking for an outgoing Orthodontic Assistant! The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and possess orthodontic assisting experience.
Our orthodontic assistants are hands-on and work directly alongside our orthodontists. Responsibilities include; sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment, preparing the instruments and materials required for each procedure, tightening braces, and conducting preliminary examinations. Other key components include instructing patients on oral healthcare of braces and appliances, oral scanning, taking and x-rays and photos, and making simple appliances in-house.

Functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain and organize all administrative functions in the front office, including reception tasks, answering office phone and distributing calls or messages effectively, communicating patients' arrival promptly, and maintaining administrative records.
The Business Associate will also work with administrative scheduling, documenting patient dental treatments and payment transactions, following office procedures for patient referrals and scheduling office appointments. Other duties include making financial arrangements with patients before treatment and handling collections.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
