Family Health Care Leadership

I have been referred to as a 'variety junkie,'​ and I suppose that is true. While teaching English to middle and high school students in the late 1980's and early 1990's, I turned to technology to gain efficiency. Before I knew it I was teaching technology skills to students as young as 5 years old and their teachers, as well. I was blessed with the opportunity to expand beyond my own district into the 7 surrounding counties, other places in Michigan and, thru WorldCom, travel the US, as well. Ultimately I became a technology administrator, but kept my toe in the teaching waters by teaching graduate courses for teachers, principals and superintendents; and by teaching in the Michigan Works program, training displaced industrial workers in employable skills (Internet, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Offered the opportunity to expand and sharpen my business and technology skills, I joined the staff of Trivalent Group to bring a new perspective (non-traditional IT training) and my project management skills to their organization. I've served as IT Director, interim CIO for a hospital, implemented EHR across several hospitals and physician practices, and provided strategic technology oversight to organizations in a number of verticals. I am engaged in the operational management of the company including hiring and managing a portion of the engineering staff.
