Duties:
Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports
Take and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
Develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
Patient education as to diagnosis, 1-1 Patient Report of Finding, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, take-home stretches and exercises, and benefits of continued chiropractic care
Treatment- Chiropractic Care- adjustments- Diversified Full Spine, Extremities, Activator, Thompson Drop, Instrument adjustments, and Flexion Distraction and various therapies and modalities
Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
Work cooperatively with team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
Contribute to the growth and success of the clinic through internal and external marketing (occasional)
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
• Active Chiropractic license in OH

Equitas Health currently has clinic teams equipped with Primary Care Physicians, Infectious Disease Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners crossed trained in HIV management and primary care. We are seeking a candidate that will help to strengthen our primary care capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in office-based medicine and will be committed to providing exceptional care, resulting in high patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide the highest quality outpatient medical services to patients by assessing healthcare needs, performing physical examinations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, diagnosing, providing education to patients, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies including controlled substances.
Provide culturally competent health care to all patients with a particular focus on the LGBTQ community.
Play a key role on a multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated treatment plans for patients.
Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures, clinical protocols, continuous quality improvement standards, and program monitoring.
Work closely with administrative staff and the Medical Director to implement innovative approaches to care and meet strict standards as imposed by a variety of accrediting bodies.

Continually update knowledge on topics related to LGBTQ health, primary care topics, and HIV/AIDS through reading, conference attendance, lectures, and other educational opportunities.
Act as a collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Nurses on staff.
Education and experience:
Graduation from an accredited university with a Doctor of Medicine degree or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
Completion of an accredited residency program
