This position is a part-time position, but may grow into a full-time opportunity with benefits. Schedule is likely Monday-Wed. 830-5pm, but may grow to Mon-Friday. **Responsibilities:** In our clinic, we evaluate and manage patients with peripheral vascular conditions including varicose veins, spider veins, venous leg ulcers, leg pain, leg edema, and lymphedema. Perform post-procedure and pre-operative visits as well as discuss venous reflux and DVT ultrasound results. work alongside our vascular specialist as well as independently, with strong communication and collaboration interpret and analyze non-invasive studies to help determine appropriate therapy and next course of action pre-operative appointments patient education about these conditions Follow clinic and physician protocols to triage the above conditions Collaborate with in-office physician, and referring physicians. Provide assistance as needed by direction of physician. Possibility to learn ultrasound guided procedures and cosmetic sclerotherapy for spider veins. Qualifications: A graduate of an accredited nursing program or physician assistant program. Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields. Minimum of two years experience in related fields (vein clinic, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, dermatology, plastic surgery helpful) Demonstrate the ability to assess the full scope of patient needs. Ability to build rapport with patients. Conduct courteous and professional manner. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
