Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities: Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group Collaborate and manage APPs MD or DO degree Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California Proven experience in a primary care setting Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compensation and perks: Annual Compensation Range: $320,000 - $418,000 Sign On Bonus/Relocation available for qualified candidates A positive work-life balance Collaborative and energized clinical teams
