We are conveniently located about 15 miles east of South Bend. Duties:
Perform initial patient evaluations, including history, orthopedic/neurological testing, and spinal assessments.
Take, analyze, and interpret X-rays when clinically indicated.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on exam findings, imaging, and patient goals.
Review findings and care recommendations with patients in a clear, compassionate manner.
Chiropractic care Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Activator (we can provide training), Webster, Drop-piece knowledgeable, and Active Release Technique/Myofascial release and adjunctive therapies (manual therapy, soft tissue, therapeutic exercise instruction, traction, or physiotherapy modalities as appropriate).
Document all encounters in electronic health records (EHR) the same day of service.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, exercise, posture, and nutrition to support chiropractic care.
Conduct progress exams/x-rays and modify care plans as necessary.
Participate in team huddles and communicate effectively with staff (front desk, CAs, billing).
Collaborate with other providers and team members to ensure continuity of care.
Attend weekly case reviews or training sessions with the clinic director.
Participate in occasional community outreach events, workshops, or health talks representing the clinic.
Support the clinic's mission by delivering exceptional care and fostering long-term patient relationships.

Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
Active Chiropractic license in IN
Additional accreditations a plus CCSP/DABCSP/CSCS/NASM/DACBN

This is a newer medical school that is looking to expand and enhance psychiatric clinical services, research, and both medical student and resident training. There are significant clinical and research collaborations with community mental health care (SWMBH and ISK), the VA system (BCVHA), and collaborative care psychiatry arrangements with a number of Bronson primary care, family medicine, obstetrics and pediatric practice groups. Western Michigan University has a long history of teaching and training for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and is a leader this area regionally. In addition, there is a strong group of doctoral level psychologists within the Department of Pediatrics, providing subspecialty care to children in the community.
Responsibilities
We are seeking board certified or eligible psychiatrists who are interested and passionate about patient care, teaching and clinical research. This is a newer medical school that is looking to expand and enhance psychiatric clinical services, research, and both medical student and resident training. There are significant clinical and research collaborations with community mental health care (SWMBH and ISK), the VA system (BCVHA), and collaborative care psychiatry arrangements with a number of Bronson primary care, family medicine, obstetrics and pediatric practice groups. Western Michigan University has a long history of teaching and training for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and is a leader this area regionally. In addition, there is a strong group of doctoral level psychologists within the Department of Pediatrics, providing subspecialty care to children in the community.
Responsibilities
We are seeking board certified or eligible psychiatrists who are interested and passionate about patient care, teaching and clinical research. The candidate will join 1.5 full-time child psychiatrists who are currently on the faculty. Clinical responsibilities will include a combination of inpatient adolescent and partial program, outpatient through the community mental health provider (CMH), Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK), and consultative work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides healthcare and health management for patients of all ages
Provides a total assessment of the patient's health status, including systematic health history, a physical examination, and diagnostic testing
Provides skilled observations and health assessments of patients, including history, physical examination, and appropriate interventions and referrals
Provides patient care services appropriate to patient condition and in conjunction with current Joint Commission standards
Diagnoses and treats or appropriately refer to health problems for the patient population. Orders interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Establishes and facilitates a plan of care related to a patient's identified problems, needs, and strengths, including medication, diet, therapeutic procedures, counseling, education, and teaching needs of patients, families, and groups.
Assess and formulate a plan of care related to preventative, acute, and chronic needs identified by the patient and health care team in a manner that provides continuity of care. It includes coordinating care with patients' primary care physicians (PCP) when identifying and identifying an available PCP when one is not currently designated.
Assesses patient/family learning needs and provides appropriate patient education.
Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses the condition of the patient.
Determines and prescribes medication, dosage, and schedule, given the patient's condition and allergies.
Discusses any possible side effects of medication or immunization with the patient.
Prescribes and administers vaccinations to immunize patients from infectious diseases.
Promotes health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
Patients refer to a medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for the patient's well-being.
Documents the patient's visit, including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action
Follows up with patient regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases
Conducts physical examinations to provide the information needed for admission to the school, consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage.
Participate in all required departmental and organizational meetings.
Other duties may be assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated the ability to assess clinical needs and work in an integrated, holistic approach to care, including case management, disease management and/or population health programs.
Experience with office-based surgical procedures.
The ability to work within a high volume of medical practice with multiple interruptions and busy work schedule and respond to urgent and emergent situations.
Knowledge of managed healthcare systems, medical quality assurance and quality improvement, and risk management,
Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in inpatient care
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other comparable training programs
Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency program
Possession of a State of Michigan and Federal Narcotics and Controlled Substance license
Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan
