Job Title: Emergency Medicine / Family Medicine Physician - Level 2 ER
Pay: $175 - 200/hr. (Flexible)
Openings: 2
Schedule: 36 hours per week; primarily day shifts, with occasional nights required
Day Shifts: 7am-7pm, 8am-8pm, 10am-10pm, 11am-11pm, 12pm-12am
Night Shifts: 7pm-7am
Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care for patients of all ages, addressing both acute and chronic conditions.
Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop treatment plans.
Manage patient flow to ensure timely and effective care delivery, averaging 2.5-3 patients per hour.
Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including in-house Pediatricians, Hospitalists, and specialty call support (Ortho, STEMI, ENT, Podiatry, Nephrology, OB, Behavioral Health).
Participate in scheduled day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Adhere to all clinical guidelines, hospital protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Oklahoma MD license (required).
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience.
Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
Flexibility to work both day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Department Details
Average patient volume: 230 per day (combined ED and Urgent Care).
Physicians typically see 16-22 patients per shift depending on acuity.
Double coverage model in place.
Typical emergency department acuity with broad specialty support available.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in curriculum development and delivery, assessment, and modification as a part of the college's ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
Participate in the assessment and evaluation of students and residents, provide feedback and remedial assistance to ensure that the students of the College meet the standards established by the faculty and college and obtain the knowledge, skills and competency established.
Participate in the assessment or evaluation of and provide feedback to other members of the faculty as a portion of the college's ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
Establish and maintain scheduled office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation and consultation.
Provide service to the College community and students through serving on College committees, providing leadership, mentorship and expertise to students, participating in community outreach events and with professional organizations or groups as assigned by the Dean or Department Chair.
