We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist with specialized expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-concussive syndrome, and related neurodiagnostic evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience in both acute and chronic TBI management, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care. This role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, interpreting neurodiagnostic studies, and guiding treatment plans for patients with complex neurologic presentations. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive neurologic evaluations for patients with suspected or confirmed TBI and post-concussive symptoms. Interpret neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, qEEG, VNG, balance assessments, imaging, and other concussion-focused modalities. Develop individualized treatment plans addressing cognitive, vestibular, psychological, and functional symptoms related to head injury. Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists, primary care providers, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, and case managers to coordinate continuity of care. Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance to technicians and support staff performing diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. Stay current with emerging research, standards of care, and best practices in TBI and concussion management. Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and professional education initiatives as needed. Qualifications MD or DO with board certification in Neurology. Fellowship training or substantial clinical experience in traumatic brain injury, sports neurology, brain health, or related subspecialties preferred. Valid medical license (or eligibility) in the state of practice. Strong understanding of acute, subacute, and chronic concussion pathophysiology. Experience interpreting neurodiagnostic testing relevant to TBI and post-concussive care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area performing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders.
