South Boston neighborhood health center is looking for a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician that shares a passion for and embraces the diversity of its patient population to be part of its team. Physicians requiring visa support are welcome to apply.
The primary care physician will practice within a Patient Centered Medical Home model, seeing 18-20 patients per day.
Physicians will have assigned patient panels that are capped at 1500 patients.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:15-8 pm, Friday 8:15-6, Saturday 9-3.
Primary Care physicians will see patients roughly 8:15-5:30 four days per week, 11-8 once a week and one Saturday every 8 weeks.
Call is approximately 1 in 8 and is telephone coverage only for patients who call our answering service. The adult medicine group currently takes call a week at a time.
Part-time hours are available: We have weekday hours starting at 3pm or 4pm until as late as 8pm. Saturday hours are also available.
Group serves an extremely diverse patient population including Brazilian, Cape Verdean, Haitian, Latino, Portuguese, African American and Caucasian, 77% of whom live in poverty. It provides desperately needed services to low-income and marginalized populations in the area, and is committed to health promotion and disease prevention.

Requirements:
Graduation from an Accredited Doctor of Chiropractic Program (DC)
Chiropractic license in MA
Experience or interest in family care, corrective/structural chiropractic, sports performance, and active rehabilitation is preferred
Schedule:
Full time (M-F)
