What you'll be working on:
Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing all ages (0+)
Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
State licensed in DC, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Fairfax, VA.
One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base salary range for this role is $244,000 to $260,000 per year based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Medications: Contract personnel shall follow all established medication policies
and procedures. No sample medications shall be provided to patients.
Discharge education: Provide discharge education and follow up instructions

Requirements
**License:** Shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
**Board Certification:** Shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician Services by the American Board of Family Practice and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency. All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.
**Technical Proficiency:** Contractor's physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
**Continuing Medical Education (CME)/ Certified Education Unit (CEU) Requirements:** Contractor shall provide the COR copies of current CMEs as required or requested by the facility. Physician shall continue to meet the minimum standards for CME to remain current.
**Training (ACLS, BLS, EHR and VA MANDATORY):** Contractor shall meet all VA educational requirements and mandatory course requirements defined herein; all training must be completed by the contractor's physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, as required by the VA. Other training may become required. VA will communicate any changes to the training requirement to the contractor.
