Will perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that reduce risk, pain, and recovery time for patients.

Although this position is primarily focused on clinical IR, experience in diagnostic cardiovascular imaging is highly encouraged.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, post-fellowship work experience in interventional radiology is desired.
Training and experience in advanced vascular interventions, e.g., peripheral venous and arterial interventions, DVT and PE thrombectomies, vascular reconstruction and recanalization, aortic interventions (e.g., advanced graft endoleak repair), and be experienced in complex venous access/dialysis management.
The candidate is expected to have multi-modality image guidance expertise, be technically proficient in a wide variety of procedures, and have strong clinical acumen.
Depending on specific applicant credentials, protected non-clinical time will be provided to develop and expand practice and participate in national-level CME.
Licensure:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent

Location: New Haven, CT
Outpatient Primary Care
Develops a plan of care for each patient, including medical history, physical examination, diagnosis and appropriate treatment and/or referral, including hospitalization if necessary
Uses all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and others tests in an appropriate and cost efficient manner
Refers those cases which require specialist services, but maintains primary care responsibility to assure continuity of care
Very Light Call - Call via phone 1 week every 2-3 Months. 90% of calls Screened by Nursing Service Line.
Cover 1 Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm every 3 Months

Job purpose
To provide high quality health care to the patients of the Fair Haven Community Health Center in the primary care setting consistent with FHCHC policies and mission.
Duties and responsibilities
Provides primary medical care in accordance with the provider's medical specialty

Participates in Medical & General staff meetings and appropriate clinical teams
Participates in the Health Center's Performance Improvement program, in other task groups as needed, and pursues continuing education opportunities to update medical knowledge and assure quality patient care
Performs other necessary duties as required by the FHCHC to achieve the goal of providing high quality service and health care
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy.
Completion of an approved internal medicine residency program
License to practice medicine in State of Connecticut
Ability and willingness to serve on the active medical staff of the hospitals used by FHCHC
Qualified in Basic Life Support techniques
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is desirable
Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred
Ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to the patients and other staff of the Community Health Center.
