The MFM department provides clinical services at three hospitals in the Kansas City metro area including Children's Mercy Hospital, University Health - Truman Medical Center, and Advent Health - Shawnee Mission hospital. This position is unique in that the successful candidate will have the ability to work with the MFM team to define this position based on physician preferences and institutional needs, including the opportunity to work at 3 distinct locations with varying responsibilities. In addition, both Children's Mercy and University Health - Truman Medical Center are teaching hospitals and medical students, OB/Gyn residents and/or MFM fellows participate in most clinical services. Children's Mercy Fetal Health Center is a state-of-the-art prenatal diagnosis facility, one of only a handful of fetal centers located in a children's hospital - and the first in the Midwest. Our group provides general MFM services for the region as well as an array of fetal interventional services. Clinical services are specifically focused on a comprehensive, integrated medical model for managing pregnancies complicated by complex fetal malformations.
