Local Team Collaboration:
At Oak Valley Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to over six EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers. Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
Qualifications:
Emergency Medicine board certification (ABEM or AOBEM)
Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
12-hour shifts; 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
Full-time is 120 hours per month; part-time option available.
Key Responsibilities:
12-bed ED with all private rooms
4 fast-track beds
Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate
Average of 2.1 patients per hour
The hospital includes five ICU beds and 30 med/surg beds
Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026
Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI available during daytime hours
Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care
