Position Type: Full-time/part time Schedule: 36 hours per week, including nights and weekends Overview: We are seeking board-certified Physicians with expertise in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Med/Ped), Family Medicine (FM), or Emergency Medicine (ER) to join our very busy, high acuity urgent care center. Our urgent care center serves approximately 600 patients per week, over 30,000 patients/year. Patients range from new Migrants, Refugees, to well established patients. We have an extensive ancillary support including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs). We have onsite lab and radiology. Our radiology studies are read by ED based radiologists within the hours. We also have quick access to specialist for patients requiring expediated referrals. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions. • Manage high acuity patients, including infants and newborns, with confidence and expertise. • Perform common urgent care procedures with skill and efficiency. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Demonstrate strong clinical acumen and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments. • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record systems. Family Medicine opportunity: Brockton, MA Located 25m to Boston and 45m to ProvidencePosition Details Full-time, Part Time also available Permanent Employed Independent family practice office Very little admin work outside of charting Staff sends prescriptions, does pre-certs, and prior auths. Being independent means physicians can practice medicine as they like. They can refer who they want to for specialty services. Physicians can prescribe the medications they want and not be told by the corporate office not to. Our staff loves working here and many staff have been here 20+ years. It is a great place to work. Voted Best of the Best medical office yearly for the past 7 years! Compensation Physicians here take home 20% of what they bill, which is considerable. In house moderately complex lab, with a CLIA- license (also a rare thing) We do CBCs , AIC, PSA and T4S in house! Covered licensing + malpractice Rapid streps, rapid flus and more. We perform EKGs and spirometry. So the physicians get 20% of all that. These tests are done at time of service so when you talk to a diabetic about their AIC, you have the results right then! We calculate vacation pay by an average of your weekly visits.
