This role integrates physical rehabilitation with addiction treatment, supporting patients managing both physical impairments and substance use disorders. As part of a whole-person care model, you will play a key role in restoring mobility, relieving pain, supporting recovery, and promoting long-term wellness across a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurologic, and functional impairments, as well as substance use disorders. Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation and addiction treatment plans. Collaborate with physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, addiction counselors, and other providers to ensure integrated care. Perform and interpret procedures such as EMGs, joint injections, ultrasound-guided injections, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Manage acute and chronic pain using evidence-based, non-surgical approaches that minimize opioid use. Monitor patient progress in both physical and addiction recovery, adjusting care plans accordingly. Educate patients and families about diagnoses, rehabilitation strategies, and addiction recovery options. Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
