Minimum Specifications
Education
Must be a graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Program accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia (COA) or its predecessor.
Experience
Equivalent Education and/or Experience Certification/Registration/Licensure
Must have a current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or a valid Compact RN license.
Must have a current license or temporary authorization (interim approval not to exceed 120 days from date of issuance) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the Texas Board of Nursing.
Must have a current healthcare provider CPR certification from
American Heart Association,
American Red Cross
Military Training Network.
Must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Systems (ACLS) certification.
Must have a valid national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Must meet and maintain licensing and registration requirements as delineated by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, and Credentialing Policies/Procedures, if any.

Provides care to the assigned patient population in accordance with the current State of Texas Nurse Practice Act, established protocols, multidisciplinary plan of care, and clinical area-specific standards.
Must be able to make sound decisions in anesthetic patient care, demonstrate ethical norms of practice, and respect and maintain patient rights.
Must be able to demonstrate good organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills when working with a diverse population of physicians, patients, patients' families, and medical staff.
Must demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors.
Responsibilities
Maintains and implements knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact or govern nursing practice and ensures the hospital and Parkland are in compliance.
Develop effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state, and private health plans.
Maintains and updates knowledge of sanitation, infection control, safety, supplies, equipment, and appropriate utilization of supplies and materials.

Position Overview
We seek a board-certified or board-eligible physician to join our pain management team. This physician will lead our Fort Worth clinic location. Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training in interventional pain medicine and a background in anesthesiology. The physician will provide comprehensive evaluations, perform interventional procedures, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other specialists.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions using interventional techniques (e.g., epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation).
Manage a diverse patient panel, coordinating care with other specialists as needed.
Perform conscious sedation and anesthesia monitoring during procedures.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Contribute to clinical research and teaching opportunities if interested.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology or related field.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship (or equivalent training).
Unrestricted Texas medical license or ability to obtain one.
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
