Dedicated procedure and administrative time Call: No In-House call; from home Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Primary Responsibilities: Conduct maternal fetal medicine consultations and ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies. Outpatient mostly, inpatient as needed. Utilize NorthBay's electronic medical record system for documentation of office visits and ultrasound reports. Participate in morning inpatient board rounds via phone, collaborating with Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Baby unit, and Neonatologists for comprehensive patient care discussions (15-minute rounds). Round on antepartum patients as necessary to provide timely and thorough care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding prenatal care and pregnancy complications. We should probably mention the on call for consultation regarding high risk patients? This is tricky though because we haven t defined or figured this part out yet.
