Responsibilities
Spends 100% of time in a center providing direct patient care, leading by example, enhancing processes and procedures to minimize visit times, and creating an exceptional patient experience
Ensures day-to-day execution as the Primary Treating Physician (PTP) for all injuries collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and expedite case closure
Manages clinicians and support staff and complies with all supervisory physician requirements for PA/NPs
Creates a professional and collaborative working environment with full colleague participation that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient safety
Works with medical leadership to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement and efficiency

Wound Care Physician - South Sacramento
The Permanente Medical Group is actively seeking a Board Certified/Eligible physician who is experienced in wound care for our South Sacramento facility. The ideal candidate will have experience within an outpatient wound care clinic or academic setting and preferably, but not mandatory, with surgical training, hyperbaric medicine and/or vascular medicine training.
Procedures are a part of daily work and include debridement, hematoma evacuation, application of biologic dressings, biopsies, etc. Based on skill set it may also include operative debridement and skin grafting. You will also provide supervision of the wound and ostomy nurses. There is potential for administrative work if desired.
This position will be based out of the Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Facility but will be part of our Greater Sacramento Valley Wound and Ostomy service. The provider will spend time at our Sacramento and Roseville campuses as well. You will work with a team of certified wound and ostomy nurses who function in an extended role at each site and will have medical assistant support at each site as well.
Hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour lunch daily. Currently, there is no call required and there is potential for academic affiliation and education of Family Practice residents through our new Family Practice residency program. Research opportunities are available if interested.
As a member of one of the largest medical groups in the country you will collaborate closely with our Podiatric wound care providers, vascular surgery, endocrinology, orthopedics, plastics, nutrition, and social services. This position is a shareholder track position with the opportunity for full partnership after three years of service.

If you were a Family Physician with Winters Healthcare, you would provide care for our patients with a care team, alongside one of our five care team providers. “Team [

],” includes a compassionate Medical Assistant, a motivating Population Health Coach (PHC), and a designated Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) working side-by-side for your panel of patients. You will work with our Clinical Psychologists for warm hand-offs and other behavioral health consultation and support. To enhance our integrated care teams, and resources for patients, we also have our dental department right across the lobby, as well as an on-site pharmacy.
Our services include adult and pediatric primary care, chronic disease management, prenatal care, and minor procedures. Your day will vary from visit to visit: an 18-month-old well-child visit, to a 63-year-old uninsured male with a cough, to a diabetic migrant-seasonal farm worker, or a 25-year-old female coming in with her first pregnancy. Each care team typically sees around 17 - 22 patients in an 8-hour shift, and have patient panels that average around 700. We place emphasis on establishing trusting relationships while being devoted to quality health outcomes and we have the data and measures results to prove it.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) FM-MD who provides prenatal care up to 36 weeks. Additionally, our ideal candidate enjoys being on a team, making connections, building relationships, and providing health care regardless of one's insurance or ability to pay. CRNA Job Details - Vacaville, CA
Healthcare Setting: Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with extension option
Shifts per Week: 4
Shift Length: 10-hour shifts; 12-hour shifts in OB as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday; no call required
CRNA Qualifications
Active, unrestricted California CRNA license (licensing candidates not considered)
BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA experience in acute care settings
Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Health Connect)
OB anesthesia experience highly preferred
CRNA Responsibilities
Deliver anesthesia care for adult patients in general, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, gastroenterology, head and neck, thoracic, neuro, ENT, and OB cases
Collaborate within a 1:3 MD supervision model
Conduct pre-operative assessments, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients throughout procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Adapt to variable patient census and room assignments
