Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;
Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising (if necessary) facility's clinical guidelines; insuring compliance with state and federal regulations, training facility staff; and supervising facility clinical staff.

The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day to day resident care at each facility. Typically, each facility will have a full-time PA or NP assigned to the facility depending on the acuity and volume of the patient population;
Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;

Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. • Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.• We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence.• W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available).• Paid Training. Practice Overview: • Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm) or part-time available.• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week.
