Family Resources was founded in 1970 by a group of local radio DJ’s in St Petersburg, Florida who were getting calls from young people who had nowhere to turn for help.
In 1975, a group of local parents established a Preschool in Rushville.
Family Resource Network of the Panhandle, Inc. (FRNOTP), Serving Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan Counties, West Virginia, became incorporated as a non-profit organization in September of 1997.
In 2006, Child & Family Resources began the process of certification including an agency self assessment, policy and practice evaluation and an on-site review.
