As a **Social Service Advocacy Administrative Assistant**, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities: * Updates resident emergency sheets, mails copies to residents. * Maintains accurate resident information in Point Click Care. * Scans documents (POAs, Living Wills, Weapon Forms, LTC policy) for new residents into Point Click Care. * Assembles packets of information needed by the social service team for Village Life Orientation and new resident visits. * Maintaining the Medical Equipment Loan program and keeping the closets organized. * Assists resident drop ins with non-social service needs (i.e., printing MapQuest directions). * Assist the entire social service team with special projects. * Completes Independent Life Quarterly fall report. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director. * High School Diploma * Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service (i.e. residents, other departments). * Excellent organizational skills. * Ability to keep track accurate records. * Excellent computer skills are essential for this position. * Part of Garden Spot Communities, we are a nonprofit organization with locations in New Holland and Akron, PA, offering healing and retirement living at its best! * We live out our mission daily: To enrich the lives of older adults as an expression of Christ's love. * We prioritize our values: Community, Excellence, Service, Stewardship, Innovation, and Integrity. * We offer compassionate personal care based on each residents' needs and preferences. * We encourage and equip our team to work hard, have fun, and make a difference! **Before completing an application, please review The Garden Spot Experience** **to learn more about who we are, what we do and how we do it!** EOE You must select a location.
