The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services. FLSA Status Exempt The Focus of Adult Addictions The Adult Addiction team provides services to adults 18 & up with a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder and those with co-occurring disorders. We believe that recovery is 100% possible, and our goal is to partner with the client to help them reach their recovery goals. The Adult Addictions Clinic provides a combination of services, including peer support, individual therapy, couples/family therapy, case management, skills training, medication management, and groups. The services provided are based on the client's individual needs and treatment plan. The Adult Addictions clinic is located in our Thomas P. Stitt Building at 3171 N. Meridian. Where You Fit In: The Licensed Therapist - CCBHC performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices (“EBP”) specific to Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (“CCBHC”) certification. This position manages a caseload of clients by identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive and coordinated effort in meeting the varied requirements of the clients under your care. Facilitate patient participation in treatment planning, education, and discharge processes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, timely, and effective care delivery. Assess psychosocial risk factors based on prior functioning, support systems, and reactions to illness or trauma. Counsel patients and families on emotional, social, and financial impacts of mental health or disability. Access and coordinate community resources, including protective services, foster care, guardianship, and mental health placements. Serve as the primary point of contact for cases involving abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and other protective issues. Provide intervention in guardianship, foster care, and adoption cases. Maintain documentation and manage all functions related to utilization review and discharge planning. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required. Licensure: Current licensure or license eligibility in Indiana as an HSPP, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC required. Clinical licensure preferred. Certifications: CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification may be required. Experience: Relevant healthcare, mental health, or community-based experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of the impact of disease processes and human behavior for assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling. Understanding of state and county legal mandates related to child and adult protective services. Principles of growth and development across the lifespan. Strong crisis de-escalation and intervention skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong community, law enforcement, and agency relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
