    Job Description SUMMARY This position is best for an individual who can work independently and within a team. Managed Care Options Counselor performs activities related to contracted services per contracted intervention protocols to achieve program goals in a timely and efficient manner. Interventions can include office work, meeting clients in their homes or community setting, or in hospital/facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work independently to meet contract goals and departmental objectives at a high rate of success as stated in the scope of work. Demonstrate leadership qualities to improve programming, co-develop goals and objectives, identify ways to improve service delivery, increase efficiency, and improve team moral. Respond quickly to referrals according to CICOA and contracted agency guidelines as detailed in the scope of work. Work as a member of multiple teams across a variety of settings. Problem solve in the field by identifying appropriate community resources for client's and caregivers. Maintain flexibility in scheduling assessments to meet client and/or caregiver schedules. Record time and tasks according to agency and funding source guidelines. Demonstrate agency's customer service standards. Attend scheduled in-person or virtual trainings/meetings. Perform other duties as assigned across the agency SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
