This incumbent will be a highly energetic and motivated professional who will work with women with substance use disorders (SUDs) and women with co-occurring SUDs and mental health disorders and their families. Will work as part of a team that provides a full continuum of services to participants. Manages a caseload and provides intensive case management and supportive services.

Develops individualized service plans, reviewed on an on-going basis and transfer/discharge plans
Reviews initial assessment and diagnostic impression upon admission for services
Provides case management and crisis intervention services when needed
Assesses and monitors consumer needs and adjusts treatment plan accordingly
Arranges for additional/alternative services if appropriate
Interfaces with other service providers
Attends staff meetings, clinical staffing's, multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
Maintains electronic medical records in accordance with pertinent standards
Maximizes re-imbursement potential
Performs related work as required

Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field.
Experience in a behavioral health setting and women's services preferred.

The Language and Behavior Center (TLBC) is a boutique-style ABA company that is employee-centered and focuses on an anti-ableist approach to working with autistic children. We are owned and operated by two BCBAs and are not backed by private equity. This means we get to prioritize quality of services and employee-relationships over profit. Our Director Team is also comprised entirely of parents, so we understand the need for balance.
The BCBA works with the Director Team and a team of BCBAs and RBTs to provide a range of ABA assessment and clinical services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The BCBA completes initial and ongoing assessments, develops treatment plans, provides training to caregivers, and supervises RBTs on site and via remote supervision. The BCBA is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and communicating with RBTS as well as caregivers.

Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of the treatment plan.
Develops individualized goals and objectives for in-home programs and designs treatment plans based on functional assessment data
Ongoing program oversight and weekly on-site supervision of RBTs
Meets regularly with Director Team and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client's progress and satisfaction
Completes all necessary documentation
Oversees and directs the scheduling of RBTs as needed and ensure proper billing
Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to The Language and Behavior Center policy and state and federal regulation

The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. ARC adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.
Provides non-medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to adults, children, and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.
CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of CDCs, DoDEA and community schools, youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance.
Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities.
Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service / family member.

Creates a presence on the installation in which the service and family members feel comfortable approaching the counselor and recognize the program to be confidential; for CYB counselors -- creates a presence in child and youth settings, is available to children, youth, and staff. When working with children, counselor must abide by line of site protocol.
Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources and provides appropriate linkages.
Partners with POC to provide Adult and CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an excellent working relationship with the installation/facility POC.
Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to DoD protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.
Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participate in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which they are assigned for substitute or on call services.

The HyFlex & LMS Support Specialist will provide essential technical and instructional support for HyFlex course delivery and events across graduate and undergraduate programs, as well as for faculty and staff within the Costello College of Business. The Sexual Harassment / Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Victim Advocate (VA) facilitates care and provides non-clinical support to adult victims of sexual assault or sexual harassment within the CIA. OSP functions as a steward of Virginia Tech's research portfolio and is responsible for ensuring that all research proposals and projects comply with federal and state laws and regulations, the sponsor's policies and terms and conditions and university policies and procedures.
We are seeking two detail-oriented OSP support specialists, one will support the Grant/Contract Management team, and the other will support the Financial Management team. Please see the below descriptions for more details.
The associate of the Grant/Contract Management team is responsible for the programmatic, non-financial management of awarded sponsored research projects encompassing project management, contract modifications, and closeouts.
The position will be assigned tasks involving
* Monitoring/managing email inboxes,
* Logging incoming invoices on tracking spreadsheet,
* Reviewing/organizing monthly reports and sending out email notifications to departments,
* Assisting with project closeout; final reporting, financial reconciliation, and termination of project accounts in the financial system
* Preparation of accounting journal entries,
* Completing calculations of indirect/overhead,
* Other assignments as needed
The associate of the Financial Management team serves as part of a team responsible for billing, financial reporting, receivable/collection, and fiscal closeout of research awards in accordance with sponsored award requirements.
Responsibilities include review of financial terms and invoicing requirements of award documents in order to prepare accurate invoices and financial reports in accordance with University and sponsor requirements. Review of monthly transactions to ensure compliance with award terms. Fiscal reconciliation for award closeout and final invoice submission. Account receivable management to ensure accurate application and receipt of payments. Use of University Banner applications to generate invoices as well as various online sponsor invoicing systems for submission of invoices and reports.
The positions will use tools such as Virginia Tech's Banner Finance system, My Journal system, Hokiemart, and several in-house systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Adobe to perform daily tasks.
Required Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience and/or coursework in accounting, auditing, business management, or bookkeeping.
* Demonstrated experience using office software suites such as spreadsheets, calendaring/email, and word processing.
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work both individually and as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience with federal and non-federal grants and/or contract regulations.
* Project management and/or billing and reporting experience.
* Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
* Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Additional Information
These positions are considered part-time and are currently not eligible for benefits. An hourly rate is paid for hours worked and total hours worked, from May 1-Apr. 30, is limited to 1,500 hours, averaging 29 hours per week.
The positions are hybrid and will require the completion of a telework agreement in accordance with Policy 4325, Alternative Work Site and Telework Policy. The hybrid work schedule will be confirmed following an onsite training period.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.

About the Opportunity
The primary responsibility of a Behavior Specialist is to implement consistent evidence-based mental health services and Applied Behavioral Analysis programs to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other co-morbid developmental disabilities in response to the recommendations of the Clinical Leader and Clinical Director in the home, center and/or other natural settings whose permanent RBT provider is not available to cover hours or a session.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
* Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
* Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
* Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
* Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
* Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
* Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
* Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
* Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:
* Daily Treatment Session Notes
* Daily Treatment Target Data
* Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data.
* Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.
* Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in special education and related fields.
