As a BCBA with Coastal, you'll provide direct supervision, clinical oversight, and treatment planning for children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across home, school, and community settings. Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Supervisory Practice
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Oversee the clinical implementation of ABA programs by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists.
Provide ongoing supervision, training, and competency assessments for assigned staff.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote skill generalization and positive behavioral outcomes.
Maintain client confidentiality and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Medicaid.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete session notes, reports, and data analysis in accordance with Coastal Healthcare Services and funding-source requirements.
Track supervision hours and ensure timely submission of all billing and compliance documentation.
Participate in quality assurance reviews and interdisciplinary meetings.
Professional Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to provide integrated care.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to program growth initiatives.

Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Active or eligible for D.C. licensure (Behavior Analyst)
Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, or related conditions
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Experience
2+ years of experience in pediatric or educational ABA settings
Familiarity with Medicaid, school-based, or insurance-funded ABA service delivery
Supervisory experience with RBTs or paraprofessional staff

JOB SUMMARY: The Multilingual Case Worker provides direct case management and support services to eligible Refugee Student Impact Program (RSIP) students defined in select funding agreements in accord with best practice standards, contract and grant requirements, and Agency practices and procedures. The position performs individual refugee student school impact case management services, conducts community outreach, and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform individual case management supportive services through:
* Screening eligible students for the Program and assigning them to the appropriate DC public and private schools.
* Develop a work plan consulting parents and students including school counselors and teachers to follow up on students' academic and vocational performances.
* Conducting needs assessments with parents and students to subsidize the cost of school materials such as uniforms, student bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, etc.
* Maintaining prompt and regular contact with parents, students, and school counselors in the ongoing provision of services.
* Assisting parents to communicate with school counselors and teachers to follow up on the activities of their children in providing translation services whenever there is a need.
* Offering referrals to the refugee students to outside resources, such as for mental health, substance abuse, or vocational or education-related activities collaborating with the parents.
* Assist parents and councilors with conflict mediation and resolution between students, students, and teachers or parents and teachers to ensure students' goals are not disrupted.
* Refer parents to a parenting class and conduct meetings with the parents whenever it is necessary.
* Assist in identifying free or paid summer programs, after-school tutorials, and support to ensure high school completion.
* Conduct outreach through:
* Cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with community contacts and diverse organizations including but not limited to government and non-government agencies, parishes, schools, law offices, and health service providers.
* Attending community meetings to outreach for new eligible refugee students.
* Educating eligible refugee parents who have school-age kids (5-18 years old) about the benefits of the Refugee Student School Impact Program.

Role and Responsibilities
Oversee physical care of YFT residents.
Development of acceptable habits and attitudes for YFT residents.
Management of resident behavior.
Assist in meeting the goals and objectives of any required service plan.
Responsible for guidance and supervision of the residents/children to whom assigned.
Responsible for the coordinated supervision of the residents to include but not limited to continued awareness and ability to give an account of each resident location upon request.
Confirm census count received from prior on-duty staff prior to assuming floor responsibilities. Census count must agree prior to shift departure.
Maintain shift coverage until the next shift is securely in position. If House Parents/Coordinators are not on duty, a full report is to be given to incoming staff which may take up to 15 minutes plus past then end of the shift time.
Confirm status and location of assigned residents every 15 minutes and if assigned to work overnight shift, every 30 minutes.
Maintain structure and regulations at all times; 24/7.
Completely and accurately document any required forms, particularly the daily log. This is to be completed prior to the ending shift.
Perform waive testing on residents after home visits, AWOL, and as needed with complete accuracy and compliance.
Attend all training mandated by YFT and continuously pursue training opportunities to meet standards set forth.
All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DBHDS and DSS state standards (DBHDS: 12VAC 35-46-800; DSS: 22 VAC 40-151-720).

What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Specialist II (BHS II) is responsible for managing and maintaining the safety and well-being of individuals and staff within the unit, ensuring high standards of care and support for both adults and youth. The Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist (IBHS) supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior. IBHS will provide quality behavioral health care to individuals identified in need of psychosocial support and will assist these individuals in finding the appropriate modality of care through the most efficient and integrated therapeutic resources available. This includes hospital-based programs and referrals to local agencies and private practitioners.
Example of Essential Functions:
Coordinate the delivery of behavioral health services including, but not limited to psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, counseling, referrals, education and support to patients and families.
Establish individualized treatment plan with goals to measure progress
Crisis counseling and referral to higher levels of care as indicated
Collaboration with the primary care provider, care manager, or referring community partner as appropriate
Serve as advocate for patient and his/her family
Maintain accurate records in the EHR and communicate with caregivers appropriately
Coordinate appropriate discharge plans and referrals for the patient and his/her family in collaboration with the other interdisciplinary team members. Provider appropriate follow up to ensure linkage with next providers of record when appropriate
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
Education:
A Master's degree in social work from a accredited school is required
Master's or doctorate degree that qualifies for licensure or certification as MHC, LCPS, Clinical professional counselor, or professional counselor.

Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities
The Licensed Addiction Counselor is responsible for the designs, develops, and implements all programs related to substance use and abuse prevention and intervention in conjunction with the Mental Health Consultant and Health Services staff, center physician and Center Director.
The Licensed Addiction Counselor coordinates all programs designed to reduce and eliminate substance use and abuse and in compliance with the Department of Labor/Job Corps guidelines.
Conducts in-service training sessions with both staff and students in all areas related to substance use and abuse.
Submits recommendations to the Center Director for medical terminations related to substance misuse and abuse in conjunction with the Mental Health Consultant, center physician, Health and Wellness Manager (RN), etc.
Monitors behavior and progress of students involved in the Alcohol and Other Drugs of Abuse Prevention/Intervention Program.
Maintains confidential reports and records on all referrals and cases.
Qualifications
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) required.
Prefer One year of work-related experience.
Prefer experience working with youth.
Prefer Master's degree and previous experience with disadvantaged youth, particularly in a residential setting.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Additional Requirements: Broad-based knowledge of counseling techniques. Knowledgeable in the area of alcohol and other drugs of abuse intervention programs. Ability to design, develop and implement a program related to alcohol and other drugs of abuse and interventions. Training skills in both individual and group counseling methods. Good organizational skills. Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. Computer proficiency required. In addition, an individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.
