You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but rather will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our my Time mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.
When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.
We also ask for your active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts at Target. If you do not respond to our attempts at contact, your employment may be terminated. Additionally, if you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment with Target will be administratively terminated.

Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role. Job Responsibilities:
Respond to calls from law enforcement, CST care coordinators, and other referral sources when on call; arrive at the victims location within the required time frame
Meet immediate physical needs of youth - clothes, food, toiletries, etc.
Provide ongoing field-based advocacy, case management, and emotional support
Independently coordinate referrals, service planning, and documentation of services for assigned caseload
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop service plans, and make independent decisions in the field regarding the safety and well-being of assigned youth
Provide transportation with parent or guardian permission to appointments and services as needed and as feasible
Meet with each assigned survivor weekly if in town; meet with survivors placed out-of-town monthly; maintain communication through other means in between weekly meetings
In coordination with the MDT, help create and update safety plans for survivors
Attend CPS case staffings and MDT emergency response meetings and scheduled staffings
Document all interactions with survivors, their families, and partner agencies within 72 hours
Build and maintain good relationships with organizations that provide services relevant to trafficking victims
Alert supervisor when difficult situations arise
Recognize red flag behavior and report to supervisor or Executive Director
When not otherwise available, provide an appropriate level of support to non-offending family members of victims to help create a good home environment to which the victim can return while maintaining needed boundaries.

Communicate an eagerness to be helpful, starting with every referral, initial contact, and/or initial engagement and continuing through service delivery, with all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure the safety of all children served. Ensure that abuse and neglect concerns are appropriately reported and immediate actions are taken to ensure client safety.
Become certified in The Bair Foundations model of care, which includes Together Facing the Challenge (foster/kinship parent training).
Provide direct supervision to assigned foster/kinship families, including but not limited to coaching, follow-up and accountability in accordance to structure home visit requirements.
Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in The Bair Foundations electronic documentation system in accordance with policy and state regulations.
Apply advance child welfare knowledge to develop plans of service to establish the appropriate interventions to be provided for each child on caseload and to assure compliance.
Assist service team members and the child in accomplishing service plan goals and ensuring progress towards goals are documented.
Cover on-call when assigned, which includes responding to emergency situations after hours.

Essential Functions:
* Provides substance abuse counseling and recovery skills training; participates in inmate orientation, educational and individual and process counseling groups in compliance with program standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
* Participates in the development and implementation of a comprehensive treatment plan (CTP) which is developed based on results of an evaluation battery designed to assess inmate needs and risk associated with recidivism.
* Maintains accurate and complete case reports, records, and statistics necessary for the evaluation of the program. Maintain confidentiality of inmate records. Compiles data and submits reports and related documentation as appropriate.
* Participates in sessions designed to teach and practice complex life skills such as assertiveness, anger management, goal setting, managing criminality and changing thinking errors.
* Implements follow-up and after care plans for inmates that participate in the program prior to their release; and disseminates information on community resources for inmate placement in follow-up treatment.
* Make available to all inmates, recovery-oriented support groups.
* Within 30 days of completion of the program, works with the treatment team to develop a comprehensive assessment plan (CAP) for each inmate on caseload to reflect the evaluation results together with comments about the inmate's level of participation and quality of completion in the substance abuse treatment programs.
* Submit copy of the CAP to the Parole Division to be included in the Parole Case Summary.
* Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques.
* Maintain accountability of staff, inmates, and property; adhere to safety practices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
