Program Info Our Intercept program serves a broad population of youth, including those involved with multiple child-serving systems and those at high risk of removal from their families. The program specializes in diverting youth from out of home placements by helping their families safely maintain youth in their home environment. This position is responsible for providing intensive home-based therapy to families in Burlington County and requires a flexible and non-traditional schedule, designed around the availability of the youth and families served. Key Responsibilities Carry small caseload of 4-6 families Hold family sessions with each family 3 times a week scheduled at the convenience of the families Provide treatment in families' homes, schools and other community settings as needed Participate in weekly supervisions and clinical consultation meetings Provide on-call availability to support families Address behavioral health needs to support family functioning and stability. Implement and adjust evidence-based intervention strategies to align with family goals Collaborate with peers, DCP&P, and other community providers to ensure continuity of care and support for the family. Complete necessary documentation required for Youth Villages Intercept program and Acenda. Operates conscientiously in accordance with program budget (i.e., use of client engaging funds, office supplies). Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management required. Experience working with children and families, particularly families involved with the child welfare system and/or affected by trauma preferred. Ability to facilitate positive interactions and work collaboratively with families. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.
