After the initial training period, the position offers a hybrid schedule with eligibility for at least one remote workday per week. CIES is the State of Vermont's system for receiving child abuse and neglect reports and managing after-hours emergencies involving child safety, children in state custody, delinquency, and youth whose behaviors are beyond their caregivers' control. Duties include: Answer the child protection hotline and gather essential information from callers regarding alleged abuse or neglect. Document reports in the state's reporting system. Review reports to determine whether allegations meet acceptance criteria under department policy. Assess child safety and determine appropriate agency responses. Will consider flexible shifts, including a 4-day work week As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.
