What You'll Do:
Provide on-site behavioral health services in primary care clinic.
Provide consultation with Providers to aid or assist in the primary care of patients.
Serve as primary mental health Provider or ancillary health Provider as needed.

Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings, providing diagnostic and psychological assessments for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in specialty behavioral health settings.
Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
Master's Level Therapist Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Experience Required: Two years of postgraduate/master's experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance; such experience must have been gained under the supervision of a mental health professional.

JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain active caseload and function as mentor and resource specialist to families in ADFC housing complexes

Provide telephone and in-person screening for families with children attending Alder Elementary who need rental assistance due to being homeless or at risk of homelessness. Assist families in finding and/or and stabilizing housing within Alder Elementary school boundaries. Explain agency and community services and eligibility guidelines. Administer short- and long-term rent assistance with supportive services. Many applicants face multiple challenging issues that may create barriers to housing and self-sufficiency. The office environment is extremely busy and there are many more people seeking services than resources available. Advocate will need to effectively manage time between working at Alder Elementary and Our Just Future' Rockwood Office and/or working remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Check in regularly with the family while they are in the house searching process.
Assist each household, receiving rent assistance, to develop and track implementation of a goal plan that systematically addresses the actions needed to achieve self-sufficiency; including but not limited to development of personal and work skills, employment, increased income, housing, transportation and childcare. (Overall goals of program are income self sufficiency, housing stability and academic success of children.)
Perform at least monthly home or office visits with families receiving long term rent assistance.
Refer households to other services provided by Our Just Future as appropriate, including but not limited to anti-poverty educational groups and domestic violence and employment support services.
Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date documentation of service activities using Our Just Future procedures, forms and data reporting systems. Submit paperwork in a timely manner.

Position Goal: Provide individual and/or group assessment, career/life planning, self-sufficiency planning, barrier removal, and intervention services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with participants individually and/or in groups to identify barriers, including issues related to housing, transportation, substance abuse, domestic violence, addictions, mental health issues, employment, and self-sufficiency and/or skill/knowledge development related to healthy families and child development.
Refer and assist participants in obtaining additional community resources to address identified barriers.

RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction to clients. RCC clients are often combative and have multiple mental or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.
Eligibility for a QMHA certification is preferred. You must have prior experience working with combative at-risk youth, preferably in a residential setting OR experience working in a challenging, high-paced environment that can be applicable to this line of work. The ability to maintain strong professional boundaries and confidentiality is a must. You must also be able to pass crisis intervention training within your first month of employment. The Regional Crisis Center uses specific manual restraints as specified by the state, and the ability to perform these restraints is essential to the position.
