BCBA Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education Services:
Act as a resource on behavior management to Special Education staff.
Provide coordination, consultation, and program development for behavior management processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans.
Act as case manager for students with behavioral needs placed in non-public school programs.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and prepare documents.
Assist in soliciting meaningful involvement of parents in the implementation of positive behavior intervention plans and in the determination of appropriate placement.
Provide clinical oversight and supervision for student cases.
Provide and or coordinate staff development on behavior management.
Assure district awareness of the provision of full educational opportunities in a least restrictive environment.
Function as a cooperative and contributing member of district and multidisciplinary teams. Provide support in the implementation of the due process regulations.
Collect and analyze data to support documentation on progress for Individual Education Plans.

Under the direction of the ECM Clinical Manager, the CLCM serves as the client's primary point of contact and works with all their providers such as doctors, specialists, pharmacists, social services providers, and others to make sure everyone is in agreement about the client's needs and care. The CLCM manages client cases, coordinates health care benefits, provides education and facilitates member access to care in a timely and cost-effective manner. The CLCM collaborates and communicates with the client's caregivers/family support persons, other providers, and others in the Care Team to promote wellness, recovery, independence, resilience, and member empowerment, while ensuring access to appropriate services and maximizing member benefit.
This is a hybrid position that requires traveling throughout the Los Angeles County area up to 5 days per week.

Your experience & qualifications
Active LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LVN license in California required
1-2 years of experience as a care manager, care navigator, or community health worker supporting vulnerable populations.

Willing and able to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, both in the field and remotely, with flexibility for potential evenings and weekends.

Part- Time Educators are part of a collaborative team that develops and facilitates participatory programs for families of all types, especially those with young children. These include programs for Noah's Ark at the Skirball and adjacent Bloom Garden, Art Studio, Archaeology Dig, Visions and Values exhibition, selected changing exhibitions and a variety of seasonal Family Programs offerings. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: CHAT is accountable for implementing an institution-wide system for healthcare transition while patients are at CHLA and for transfer of care from CHLA to adult providers. This position will be within our Navigation Hub. The Navigation Hub is accountable for providing individualized case management support to referred patients and families. This case management is aimed at supporting the patient/family with transferring to adult providers, insurance navigation, conservatorship or healthcare power of attorney, and public benefits identification and applications. The Social Services Casework is under the supervision of a Master's level social worker, provides specific services to patients and their families. Coordinates case management services. Demonstrates commitment to the principles of family-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year social work/case management experience in a pediatric medical setting or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Billingual skills may be required depending on assignment and patient population.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 2-3 years' experience providing case management or clinical services to patients and families overall; 1+ year of that in a pediatric medical setting (or the equivalent combination of related education and work experience).
