BCBA Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for providing individualized behavior analysis services to teens and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (aged 13-21) or other developmental disabilities in their school and home environment. This role requires an ability to work closely with clients, their school site and their families to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans, ensuring the highest quality of care and positive outcomes for clients.
BCBA Key Responsibilities:
Oversight of RBT providing Vocational Services to students with ASD
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to address target behaviors and teach new skills.
Provide direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members working in the client's home.
Conduct ongoing data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and support to families and caregivers to ensure the generalization of skills and behavior interventions in the home environment.
Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists) involved in the client's care.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all client interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in the delivery of behavior analysis services.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
BCBA Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities, preferably in an in-home setting.
Experience in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing staff supervision.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, strategies, and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families and a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a flexible schedule.
A passion for helping individuals achieve their full potential.

General Description:
The Family Support Specialist (FSS) is responsible for initiating and maintaining regular and long-term (up to four years) contact and support with families according to the critical elements of the program model. Contact will occur primarily within the family's home with visits lasting at least one hour. The interventions should be family-centered, strength-based, and directed at establishing a trusting relationship; strengthening the parent-child relationship; promoting healthy childhood growth and development; and enhancing family well-being by reducing risk and building protective factors. The FSS partners with families and honors diverse family structures and parenting practices. Activities may also include but are not limited to: administering the Family Resilience and Opportunities for Growth Scale (FROG) Scale; administering screening tools such as the ASQ, ASQ-SE, Depression Screens etc.; identifying and referring families for other supportive services, including health care services. The FSS will also be responsible for assisting the family in establishing goals and supporting them throughout this process and is responsible for implementing activities outlined on the Family Service Plan to address areas of concern that were identified on the FROG scale. The Family Support Specialist must have good communication and writing skills and knowledgeable of community resources to offer referrals to the appropriate community-based agencies, depending on the family's needs.
The Family Support Specialist will report to the Clinical Supervisor.
This is a grant-based position and dependent on funding availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in the enrollment of a new family in the program and completing the intake process
Build trusting relationships with families to engage and retain families in the program
Visit and make contact with family as prescribed by the program parameters
Complete the validated Family Resilience and Opportunities for Growth (FROG) Scale with families to identify family strengths and areas to address at the start of services with parents
Maintain accurate and complete documentation on each family
Complete timely and accurate data entry and reports as required
Assisting the family in establishing goals and making a plan for the accomplishment of those goals
Utilizing the ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE developmental screening to regularly assess the growth and development of the child
Administering other screening tools such as the depression screen, intimate partner violence screen, and parent-child interaction screen as required by program
Participate in individual weekly reflective supervision with immediate supervisor (minimum 1 ½ hour)
Provide information on child development and parent/child attachment utilizing appropriate curriculum. Encourage and provide opportunities for positive parent/child interactions
Assess and provide guidance related to child safety
Track child immunizations and encourage regularly scheduled well child visits
Makes appropriate referrals to community resources, if needed
Participate in staff meetings and other events as required
Attend workshops, conferences and other trainings to enhance professional development and to keep updated on new development in the field

General Responsibilities:
1. Complete intake and application of Crime Victim's Compensation.
2. Ensure that all relevant reports are collected from law enforcement and/or Social Services to become part of the case file.
3. Review each case file and conduct ongoing follow-up services.
4. Provide crisis intervention, support, and education regarding the investigation, prosecution and treatment to children and non-offending caregivers throughout the criminal Justice process.
5. Be knowledgeable of local resources for children and their families and maintain a comprehensive up-to-date resource guide of services.
6. Provide each family with information on the rights of crime victims and ensure that local services are available as needed.
7. Provide linkage to the law enforcement victim advocate and facilitate coordinated service provision.
8. Provide each family with notification of Crime Victims' Compensation and assist with application process if needed.
9. Assess ongoing needs of the child and non-offending caregivers and/or siblings and assist families in procuring additional support as needed.
10. Provide information and referrals for additional services both within the Coalition and to its outside network.

General Purpose

The Foster Care (FC) Family Specialist will provide family support and case management services to foster families, and the foster children placed in their homes, and ensure all foster homes are compliant with DSS regulations. The FC Family
Specialist caseload will include a minimum caseload of 12-15 children placed in foster
care, foster families awaiting placement, and respite families. In addition, the FCFS will
participate in the licensing of new foster families as needed and assist the FCLS with
the licensing process. The FC Family Specialist will act as a liaison between the
Department of Social Services and other school/medical/community organizations and
will advocate for the needs of foster families and children placed in foster care.
Extensive driving is required, and mileage is reimbursed at Thornwell's established rate.
The FC Family Specialist will ensure the provision of quality services to foster families
and children using established Thornwell, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI),
Council of Accreditations (COA) standards, and state and federal guidelines. The FC
Family Specialist will assist with on-going training t ensure foster family retention and
high-quality of care for children placed in Thornwell foster homes.
Core Responsibilities
1) Conduct monthly home visits for all foster children in the caseload to ensure the
safety and well-being of the children. Visits include conducting announced and
unannounced visits.
2) Provide ongoing support to foster families to ensure the needs of the foster child
and the foster family are met. (e.g. Identifying educational, medical, therapeutic
resources for the foster child, communication with DSS, childcare, etc.)
3) Coordinate the placement and discharge of the foster child (communication with
DSS and the foster family, transfer of records, etc.).
4) Participate in child/case planning, appointments, Foster Care Review board and
court hearings as needed.
5) Match foster child referrals with foster families in your caseload. Review child
intake referrals and match the child with an appropriate foster family.
6) Participate in weekend/holiday On Call rotation to review incoming child referrals
and match the child referrals with an open bed.
7) Ensure all foster homes are compliant with DSS licensing requirements and COA
standards at all times.
8) Conduct quarterly home visits with licensed foster families in your assigned
caseload and as assigned.
9) Work cooperatively with the Licensing Specialist to license and re-license foster
families. Conduct orientation and safety walk-thru of the foster home, and
ensuring all renewal documentation is submitted timely to the Licensing Specialist.
10) Provide thorough, accurate and timely documentation of all visits, contacts, and
communication with a foster child or foster family, or about a foster child or foster

Working Conditions
The Foster Care Family Specialist will work with families residing in the Upstate region.
This position may be a hybrid position with an office based at the Thornwell Foster Care
Office - Clinton, SC. The FC Family Specialist will work with foster family case files,
participate in trainings and event/support meetings with the Foster Care Team. The
Foster Care Family Specialist will also work in the foster family's home, DSS offices, and
Court/Foster Care Review Board. The FC Family Specialist will travel daily using their
own car and will be reimbursed for mileage from the office at Thornwell's defined

utilize their Thornwell cell phone device. Limited overnight travel for special events and

TLP Residential Counselor - Part Time Weekends and Holidays

The TLP Residential Counselor - Weekends/Holidays position provides youth in MIRCI's Youth Housing Programs with a safe and supportive place to gather on weekends and holidays. This role is responsible for staff coverage in our Youth Homes, as needed, and requires availability for two weekends per month, as well as designated holidays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES NEEDED:
· Knowledge of providing supportive services and assistance to youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
· Knowledge of crisis interventions.
· Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with clients and other staff members.
· Knowledge of basic health and welfare services provided by other public and private agencies.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with individuals, families, and representatives of other professional disciplines.
· Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to persons served.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
· Provides staff coverage for weekends and holidays in a Youth Drop-in Center or Youth Transitional Living Program environment.
· Respond to client needs effectively and in a timely manner.
· Create and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for youth.
· Develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship with all youth.
· Assists and supervises the daily maintenance of the youth residents, as well as the preparation of meals and self-administration of medications and activities to improve social skills/interaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Associate's degree in a related field or relevant experience.
· 2 years of experience in a human service field
· Preferred experience in residential treatment environments
