Farm Credit Mid-America CEO and leadership

Bill Johnson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Farm Credit Mid-America, a $23-billion agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 farmers, agribusinesses and rural residents in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. He has more than 35 years of financial services experience within the Farm Credit System and has held leadership roles in Farm Credit entities across the country, including the Midwest, Pacific Northwest and New England.

Johnson came to Farm Credit Mid-America in March 2011 from AgriBank in St. Paul, Minn., where he served as Executive Vice President-Chief Risk and Information Officer. He grew up on a small farm in Southern Indiana and worked in his family’s farm supply business. Johnson received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Evansville, a Masters of Business Administration from Gonzaga University and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree at Vanderbilt University.

Johnson also serves as Chair of the Farm Credit System President’s Planning Committee and is a member of the Business Practices Committee. He is a board member of Denver-based Farm Credit Council Services and Indianapolis based AgriNovus Indiana. He also serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Evansville and is active at other universities in speaking and advisory roles.

Daniel Wagner is an EVP Chief Operating Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America, Board Member at Farm Credit Foundations, and SVP & Chief Information Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America and is based in Louisville, Kentucky. He has worked as Chief Technology Officer at Farm Credit Services of America. Daniel studied at University of Nebraska-Lincoln until 2016 and Chadron State College.

Keith Lane is an Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America and is based in Fisherville, Kentucky. He has worked as VP Agribusiness & Dealer Credit at Farm Credit Services of America. Keith attended Purdue University between 1973 and 1977.

Dennis Badger is a Chief Appraiser at Farm Credit Mid-America, President at Dennis Badger & Associates Inc, and Instructor (Investigator Training) at The Association Of Appraiser Regulatory Officials and is based in Lexington And, Louisville, Kentucky. He has worked as Board Member of Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) at The Appraisal Foundation and Vice President Collateral Risk Management at Farm Credit Mid-America. Dennis studied at Eastern Kentucky University between 1985 and 1989.

Luder Milton is a Chief Compliance Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America and is based in Richmond, Virginia. He has worked as Attorney at Sara Hirschler, Senior Counsel at CAPITAL ONE FINANCIAL CORP, and Attorney at Eckert Seamans. Luder attended Brigham Young University (BYU) between 1998 and 2002 and Washington and Lee University School of Law between 2002 and 2005.

Mark leads the risk management function at Farm Credit Mid-America, after joining the Association in early 2020. Mark has a gained significant experience in risk management and analytics from his prior work experiences. To begin his career, he worked for 4 years as a biostatistician for Indiana University, consulting on medical research projects. Mark then joined Deere & Company and held various roles of increasing responsibility over more than 20 years. His experience includes risk analytics, enterprise risk management, interest rate risk, and crop insurance risk. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematical sciences and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Kentucky. He also earned his M.B.A. in finance from Indiana University.

Michael Everett is a VP, Chief Security Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America and is based in Louisville Kentucky Area. He has worked as Database Administrator at CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES; Chief Security Officer / Assistant VP, Database Systems at Farm Credit Mid-America; and Database Architect at Farm Credit Services of America. Michael attended University of Nebraska at Omaha.
