Our Farm Equipment Operator safely operates various types of farm equipment such as 300 - 600 horsepower tractors, Western Star Bulk Trucks, Semi's and Spudnik conveyors. Duties include general maintenance when not operating equipment and whatever it takes to get the job done using teamwork. In this role, you will primarily be running a spreader and operating a rogator with precision ag controls including John Deere.
This is a full-time day shift role, with some later evening hours required during planting and harvest seasons.
Typical winter hours are 4 -10 hour days, Monday through Thursday depending on your position.
Bancroft, WI is an approximate 20-30 minute drive from the Stevens Point/Plover, Wautoma, Waupaca & Wisconsin Rapids areas.

Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Active Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Experience troubleshooting and making minor equipment repairs and adjustments
Basic math and reading skills to follow color coded product instructions to determine the amount of product needed and used
Experience with various types of farm equipment preferred
Ability to navigate technology such as an I-Pad and Smart Phone
Positive minded with a unique ability to adapt to changing plans/duties of crop farming

Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Field Foreman to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of dairy farm manufacturing equipment in agricultural settings. This role requires hands -on technical expertise, leadership ability, and strong communication skills to coordinate field teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high -quality results for our dairy farm and processing clients.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations & Supervision
Lead field crews during equipment installation, service, and repair projects at dairy farm and agricultural facilities.
Assign tasks, monitor daily progress, and ensure timely project completion according to client specifications.
Train and mentor field technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
Equipment & Process Oversight
Oversee the setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance of dairy farm manufacturing and processing equipment (e.g., milking systems, conveyors, refrigeration, pasteurizers, pumps).
Troubleshoot equipment issues on -site to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment service, repairs, and field project notes.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce adherence to OSHA, USDA, FDA, and industry safety standards on all field projects.
Conduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions where needed.
Ensure crews are trained and equipped with proper PPE and follow all safety protocols.
Client & Team Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during field projects.
Provide project updates, resolve on -site issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, management, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in mechanical, agricultural, or industrial technology preferred.
5+ years of experience in dairy farm or agricultural manufacturing equipment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
Strong understanding of dairy farm equipment systems and agricultural processing equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent leadership, problem -solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites; flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
Working Conditions
On -site work at dairy farms, agricultural facilities, and processing plants.
Exposure to machinery, outdoor environments, and varying weather conditions.
Requires physical activity including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
