**Broad Responsibilities:**
The Per Diem Farm Worker will support all aspects of the farm which includes but is not limited to cleaning animal areas, feeding animals, lawn care (mowing, trimming, weeding), general farm and garden work. Other day-to-day chores, as needed
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Follow the direction of the Farm Program Manager and Area Supervisors to complete daily farm and garden chores list
* Assist with activities wherever the need may arise
* Assist in maintaining the farm and garden

Role:

Job requires operating custom harvesting machines to harvest a variety of crops, changing cutting heads as appropriate for crop, driving semi-trucks to transport product to elevator or storage area, performing mechanical repair and maintenance on custom harvesting machinery, regularly cleaning and servicing equipment.
Job also requires the operation of large farm equipment to till soil, plant and harvest the crops on the employer's farm. No duties other than the custom harvesting duties listed previously will be performed on other fixed-site grower's operations. Job will require installing and maintaining fencing, performing mechanical repair and maintenance on farm equipment, regularly cleaning and servicing equipment, and using equipment and hand tools to maintain field conditions optimal for crop growth.6 months experience required. Applicant must have or be able to obtain a CDL. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. Increase or bonus may be possible based on experience and merit.
Employer will provide workers that reside in employer provided or secured housing with transportation from the housing to the worksite daily at no cost to the worker. Workers who are reasonably able to return to their residence within the same day will not be provided with housing, subsistence and transportation. Continued in Addendum C.
the employer will provide, without charge or deposit, free and convenient kitchen and cooking facilities to prepare meals. The workers will be allowed time to drive themselves or will be transported to a store or market to purchase their own food and cooking supplies. In the event that the workers are unable to prepare meals at the housing location, the employer will provide three sufficient meals a day free of charge.
