Job Details: This position is responsible for assisting the Service Technicians and other team members with weighing birds and moving pullets. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Chicken Farm Service Worker. This role involves the daily care and maintenance of poultry, ensuring a clean, safe, and productive environment for the chickens. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a farm setting and committed to animal welfare and biosecurity standards. Key Responsibilities: Feed and water chickens according to established schedules and procedures Monitor flock health and report any signs of illness or abnormal behavior Clean and disinfect poultry houses, equipment, and surrounding areas Collect eggs (if applicable) and ensure proper handling and storage Assist with loading and unloading birds for transport Maintain accurate records of feed usage, mortality, and production Follow all biosecurity and safety protocols Perform minor repairs and maintenance on farm equipment and facilities Support other farm operations as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous farm or animal care experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Exposure to dust, feathers, and farm odors The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Rehire Consideration: Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire. 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
