Summary of Job Duties:
• Maintaining adequate clean and well stocked housing and recreation area for livestock.
• Collect eggs daily
• Scheduled wellness check of livestock, with basic first aid administered as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of water and food for livestock
• Work with volunteers to direct daily goal and area of focus
• Harvesting, weighing, and displaying produce for client use.
• Loading and offloading of produce as needed and indicated from supervisors.
• In the off season and while periods of inclement weather, workers will aid and assist in the daily operations of the food bank and warehouse, and rotating stock as necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as rakes, shovels, and garden carts.
• Ability to operate small farm tractor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
* 5 years of recent experience performing related farm, ranch, or animal husbandry work.
* OR a comparable combination of approved education and/or recent related work experience.
* Must have experience running ranch equipment such as UTV's, Quads, Ranch Trucks, Tractors, and likewise equipment.
* Must be willing to work in all weather, during odd hours, and travel as needed.
* Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the minimum requirements established by Nisqually Indian Tribes vehicle insurance provider.
* Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge of the Nisqually Indian Tribe's history, customs, traditions, and ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
* Experience working with Federally Recognized Tribes.
