As a member of the Menzies Aviation Fuel Farm Operating Team you will be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and perform inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles. Other responsibilities include receiving and dispatching jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, av gas and glycol via pipelines and fuel trucks. Leachman is currently seeking a full-time Cattle Crew/Ranch Hand Member to join our winning team in Meriden, WY! This Team Member will work on our Cattle Crew to care for, develop, and assist with approximately 2500 bulls and several hundred females! Housing and benefits provided! Mix, utilize, and/or dispenses volatile compounds, including fuels, paint, fertilizer, and exterminating agents such as herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. Feed and care for livestock, including cows, calves, bulls, and stocker cattle. Work with cattle on foot and horseback, including herding to pasture for grazing and transferring between pastures and working facilities. Calve cows, wean calves, and prepare and administer medicines and vaccines as appropriate. Operate and maintain vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery and equipment in accordance with verbal instructions and those provided in operator's manuals. Build, repair, and maintain corral and pasture fences, pens, and other ranch facilities. May be required to keep records and prepare reports regarding cattle, calving, and machinery maintenance. What We're Looking For: Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities An associate's degree, preferably in an agriculture-related field, with two (2) years of direct agriculture-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Possession of a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of equipment to be operated. Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certificate or willingness to achieve certificate within three (3) months. Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written. Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
