The purpose of this classification is to care for horses housed at the County's horse farm and to perform general maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. Maintains fences; monitors the integrity of fences daily; and uses hand tools to repair damaged fences.
Provides assistance to boarding clients; and assists clients with moving horses for transport or with other handling as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; one year work experience in any field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

JOB SUMMARY
The FarmWorker assists with daily farm operations and supports agricultural research activities, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as helping scientists with research plots, which may involve greenhouse work. This role includes general farm maintenance such as fencing, mowing, and weed trimming, as well as caring for livestock, including cows, goats, and sheep, by feeding, watering, milking, hoof trimming, disbudding, and administering medications as directed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain pastures, fences, and farm equipment to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Operate farm machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
Prepare and mix animal feed according to specified rations.
Service, repair, and maintain small machinery as needed.
Handle and move livestock, including the use of livestock trailers.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support farm operations.
COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK
Occasional travel to pick up supplies and attend meetings/trainings Work done mostly outside and sometimes in a climate-controlled environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, catching animals, heavy lifting (50 and occasionally up to 75 pounds), reaching over the shoulder and repeated bending.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background in animal husbandry or experience in caring for Animals and working on a farm.
Experience in construction and repair of farm equipment.
Familiarity of feed mill operations
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Field Employee will be responsible for performing ground maintenance, and janitorial services at commercial sites. Duties consist of mowing grass, using the weed eater or edger, blowing leaves, general maintenance of parking lots, curbs, exterior and public areas, as well as pruning of trees and shrubs. Additionally, janitorial services such as cleaning and maintaining public restrooms, minor maintenance to grounds and facilities as well as any additional work required through work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
Operate and maintain landscaping tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as directed.
General upkeep of grounds and equipment.
Ensure work sites are clean and debris-free at the end of each workday.
Follow safety protocols and company standards to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance (preferred but not required).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation and Valid US license.
