This is a salaried position with a potential hiring offer range of $50,000-90,000 annually with optional commission, based on factors listed above.

Our Farm Equipment Operator safely operates various types of farm equipment such as 300 - 600 horsepower tractors, Western Star Bulk Trucks, Semi's and Spudnik conveyors. Duties include general maintenance when not operating equipment and whatever it takes to get the job done using teamwork. In this role, you will primarily be running a spreader and operating a rogator with precision ag controls including John Deere. This is a full-time day shift role, with some later evening hours required during planting and harvest seasons. Typical winter hours are 4 -10 hour days, Monday through Thursday depending on your position. Bancroft, WI is an approximate 20-30 minute drive from the Stevens Point/Plover, Wautoma, Waupaca & Wisconsin Rapids areas. Fantastic summer gig selling cheese at local farmers' markets! Pay is a minimum of $17+ per hour. The farmers' market season runs from June through October 31st. Looking for people who enjoy working independently, talking with people, love great cheese, and are very dependable (we have to be there every week) . A typical day involves going to our shop (Green Bay), loading the van with cheese & market supplies, going to the market, setting up shop and selling cheese, driving back to the shop, and unloading. A typical day is about 8 hours long, depending on market duration and drive time. Some heavy lifting is involved. (Cheese is heavy!)
