Position Summary: Candidate will assist the QCC Ranch Manager in the daily operations of the beef and/or bison herd. Assess the health of cattle and administer medications. Perform duties related to livestock reproduction, such as breeding animals with appropriate timeframes, performing artificial inseminations, and helping with animal births. May assist with wildlife operations including capture, culling, etc. Must have a valid driver's license (CDL is preferred but not required). May be asked to drive ranch vehicles with or without trailer. Must have experience with horses and catching/ sorting cattle horseback. Physical Abilities: The incumbent must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as regularly reach above the shoulders; must be able to push, pull, and lift up to and including 50 pounds without experiencing physical discomfort or pain.
