These Bachelor of Science degree programs are theoretical and technical programs that prepare students for careers in law enforcement on the local, state, and federal levels. The LET program blends coursework in computers, forensic science, crime prevention, technology and law to provide students with the necessary skills to control crime as well as to conduct investigations of crimes committed on a computer or at a crime scene. Peer Mentor Contract Peer Mentors of the LSAMP Summer Bridge are trained paraprofessional staff members of the Office of Access, Opportunity and Achievement (OAOA). During the Summer Bridge (SB), Peer Mentors are responsible for assisting pre-first year students with their academic, social, and personal transition into the college environment. Summer Bridge is the transition from high school to college life with the focus on STEM. Peer Mentors support this transition through their specific roles outlined below.
