The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of Transportation Engineering project delivery including contracts, budget, schedule, design production, quality and client communications. They are also responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of team members to achieve project objectives. Summary/Objective: Under general supervision, performs on-site construction engineering work requiring the application of standard techniques, methods, and procedures gained through construction engineering experience. Responsible for construction and materials inspection tasks for assigned projects and may work on non-routine and increasingly complex assignments. Monitors and documents progress and helps ensure adherence to contract and subcontract terms, performance, quality requirements, and engineering specifications. Works closely with the construction team and other staff to coordinate and complete work. Summary/Objective: Under general supervision, performs on-site construction engineering work requiring the application of standard techniques, methods, and procedures gained through construction engineering experience. Responsible for construction and materials inspection tasks for assigned projects and may work on non-routine and increasingly complex assignments. Job Description Summary/Objective Responsible for the design and preparation of plans, details, construction budgets, code compliance, design calculations, and specifications for assigned projects. Responsible for implementation of Quality Control - Quality Assurance practices for the project. Work and coordinate with other staff as needed to meet project requirements. Essential Functions Oversees the completion of various engineering tasks for transportation engineering projects, which may include state, county, or municipal public roadway improvements, or engineering work related to private developments or private utilities affecting the public right-of-way.
