Qualified candidates will work with our Utility Engineering Team in the locating, mapping, construction monitoring, drafting, design, and permitting of telecommunications and utility projects. Job duties will include performing site visits, preparing civil based utility drawings, as well as occasionally assisting with permits. We are willing to train the right candidate to develop into an important member of our team. Posting Locations for this role: Frisco, TX; Lisle, IL; and St. Louis, MO Job Activities:
Complete site visits including but not limited to utility locating, GIS mapping, documenting existing conditions, and manhole mapping
Visit construction sites to monitor contractor safety and provide quality control to ensure the project is being built as specified in the plans and specifications
Observe and document as-built conditions
Provide office support for telecommunications and other utility projects using AutoCAD or other design software
Occasionally travel overnight
Specific Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-3 years of relevant experience as a technician
Great attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player.
This position typically has work that is performed in both an office environment and in the field on construction site.
Valid driver's license and be insurable under company insurance
Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions

Prepares clear, concise, and accurate field notes and sketches.
Collects, processes, and downloads surveying field data.

Familiar with traffic control operations based on field activities.
Communicates with field staff, CAD Technicians, and project managers on a daily basis.

Interprets & extracts data from engineering plans & surveying documents.

Lead a diverse range of stormwater, drainage, conservation, and infrastructure projects. This role includes design, client contact, business development, mentoring and the following responsibilities:
* Lead design and prepare construction drawings and specifications for a wide variety of stormwater projects including: stormsewer, water quality BMPs, channel design, detention basins, lake restoration, dredging, earthen dams, stream stabilization, floodplain analysis, constructed wetlands, conservation practices, stream restoration, mitigation bank establishment, and abandoned mine land reclamation.
* Develop stormwater hydrology and hydraulic analyses for evaluation and design
* Prepare stormwater reports and studies

Requirements

Specific Requirements include:
BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility design in the natural gas industry.
Compression experience - sizing/modeling, specifying, designing, installing, commissioning.
Knowledge of CFR 49 part 192.
Knowledge of gas transmission systems as well as mechanical components and ancillary systems installed at compressor stations.
Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.
Experience working with natural gas utilities and/or midstream companies.
Licensed Professional Engineer desired.
Computer proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx and related third-party platforms a plus.
Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license.

Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of codes and standards associated with electrical power, including National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, and applicable IEEE Standards.
Ability to pass background checks and willingness to comply with immunization requirements that our industrial clients may require to access their facilities.
Ability to complete occasional travel to client sites in support of projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
NCEES Record holder preferred.
Knowledge of Navisworks software preferred.
Knowledge of SKM PowerTools, Easy Power and/or ETAP preferred.
