Job Overview:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery to produce high-precision parts and components. They work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure that parts meet exact specifications, quality standards, and are produced in a timely manner. The role requires strong technical skills, and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
Operation:
Operate CNC milling, lathe, and other automated machinery.
Verify the machine's operation by conducting test runs and adjustments.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet design specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure consistent product quality.
Record and report any defects or quality issues.
Blueprint Reading and Interpretation:

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of the Unified Soil Classification System, hydrogeological concepts, and glacial geology.
