The work schedule.

Not very many days off.

The work schedule is not bad. Having a few more holidays would be nice. Also the ability to work from home. For certain positions it is not necessary to be in the office Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00pm.

What do you like best about Fastenal's CEO and the leadership team?

The leadership is good. They are people that seem to care about the people under them.

How would you improve Fastenal's culture?

The culture is fine. Sometimes the communication could be better. The technology we use could be better.

How did you prepare for the Fastenal interview?

I researched the company and talked to someone I knew that was already employed at Fastenal.

How does your compensation at Fastenal compare to the industry average?

It’s lower than expected.

What's the diversity at Fastenal like?

Depending where you live, it seems to resemble the area.
