1235 Goodale Blvd, Grandview Heights, OH 43212 OH084 Single Customer Store Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm Up to 28 hours/week Working as Part-time Sales Support, you must have a strong interest in sales and enjoy working in a fast paced challenging environment. This is an entry level position that will provide assistance to our customers from our branch located at 1235 Goodale Blvd, Grandview Heights, OH 43212. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Assisting with sales/customer service
o Managing inventory
o Placing and fulfilling orders
o Receiving and shipping inventory
o Performing deliveries with a company vehicle
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient computer skills
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in the Columbus area. This position will need to be based in the Columbus area. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customers and vendors, collaborating with other branch associates to ensure flawless service from order to delivery and beyond.
+ Grow "share of wallet" spend with active, new, and inactive customers by developing trust-based relationships.
+ Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the current customer base, devising and implementing sales strategies in collaboration with management.
+ Perform product quotations and resolve customer issues with a focus on outstanding service.
+ Analyze competition within the territory, developing and communicating sales strategies to management.

**Qualifications**

+ Experience and success within the Hospitality vertical, working with General Managers, Facility/Maintenance supervisors, and engineers is beneficial.
+ Proven sales experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
+ Strong problem-solving, leadership, and active listening skills.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and retain information.
+ Driven to meet objectives while possessing solid communication, time management, and organizational skills.

This is a base plus commission eligible role, with no cap on your commission. The estimated total compensation range, based on performance and experience, is $75,000 - $125,000+ annually.

This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in our Southern Ohio territory. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided. **Responsibilities:**
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will:
+ Work in partnership with branch and sales associates to train, support and collaborate to ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
+ Provide technical and job site support that includes but is not limited to presentations, pre-construction meetings, job site visits, product demonstrations, and installation guidance.

+ Build and maintain a network of sources through market research, website lead generation, pre-bid meetings, and industry associations to identify new sales leads and opportunities.
+ Maintain communication with new, existing, and previous customers, engineers, regulators, and developers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest to create value and solve problems.
+ Meet or exceed sales goals by selling products, and project solutions to new, existing, and previous customers.
+ Build and maintain working relationships with all key vendors.
+ Monitor sales trends and product performance results to accurately determine inventory requirements and competitive pricing strategy.
+ Continually enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and available tools and technology to promote a professional image.
+ Increase industry awareness of the Ferguson Geosynthetics and Stormwater products through attendance and participation in tradeshows, conferences, meetings, and presentations.
**Qualifications:**
+ Sales experience in Geosynthetics and Stormwater products preferred
+ Civil engineering background is a plus
