The work schedule.
Not very many days off.
The work schedule is not bad. Having a few more holidays would be nice. Also the ability to work from home. For certain positions it is not necessary to be in the office Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 5:00pm.
The leadership is good. They are people that seem to care about the people under them.
The culture is fine. Sometimes the communication could be better. The technology we use could be better.
I researched the company and talked to someone I knew that was already employed at Fastenal.
It’s lower than expected.
Depending where you live, it seems to resemble the area.
My leadership and friendships.
None, terrible and awful
Horrible all over, only cons
There are none and pay sucks
well for starters i really like their management their they are very welcoming and care about their employees and want to see them shine if you show up everyday and you put the effort in your will be recognized in this company Fastenal looks for good work ethic with no work ethic you will get no where but if you show up everyday and put the work in it all pays off i like my employees as well very easy going and its not at all as bad as i thought it might be when i first started but it grew on me man and i really like this place i just wish the pay was better but over all its not a bad job
people calling off work people not showing up and people doing nothing but complaining about working listen if you apply for a job and you dont show up to work and call off all the time it starts to really mess people up man its not good i dont like how people will waste our time training people for them to just leave i have really been cracking down on the people that wanna work and who doesnt i just wish we had more people to come work thats what i dont like overall but at the end of the day it is what it is i still put the time and effort into this company because i see the growth we made in just this past year we have come so far in life its amazing how fast we are growing now

The customers and Selling
The environment and the management

The people are good for the most part. I say this because there are some decent people who are there to help and other people who a rude.
It is a very fast paced work environment.
The pay is alright for a high school graduate.
Variety of experiences with different business tasks
Limited opportunity for advancement
Schedule can be flexible at times
Room for growth. Sales experience.
Not too particular in nuts and bolts.
Sales exposure and health benefits.
Flexible hours, fair hourly wage, and using advanced POS systems
I feel those in higher executive positions lack a strong work ethic.
401k
I liked the efficiency of the company and the family like atmosphere
There was not a lot of opportunity for growth because of limited movement
I like the hotel room stays on business trips
