Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Productmanagers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and other stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
Measure success. Own the measures used to define success for your product. Success measures must be defined at the inception of a product and tracked throughout its lifecycle. Make measures visible to all stakeholders and interpret them into actionable conclusions and new hypotheses.
Develop new opportunities. With your finger on the pulse of the market, the customers and the engineering teams, you are uniquely positioned to bring new products to market that solve real customer problems.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

The role carries a critical and non-negotiable focus on leading network strategy and partner engagement within India. However, the successful candidate will be expected to rapidly scale their leadership and responsibility to cover the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including the Middle East and Africa (MEA), ensuring the health, capacity, and advanced capability of Cloudflare's network across these high-growth markets.
Core Responsibilities (What You'll Drive)

Resiliency & Risk Mitigation (CRITICAL):
Act as the single point of contact during severe network incidents, coordinating urgent cross-functional resolution efforts.
Diagnose root causes and proactively mitigate recurrence risk, including assessing the resiliency of backbone infrastructure (domestic vs. international and terrestrial vs. submarine assets).
Oversee and execute embedded partner deployments and CDN/edge caching integration requirements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Executive Presence: 15+ years of experience in telecom, infrastructure, or cloud technology, with a focus on network build-out across APJC.
India Market Expertise: Mandatory, established executive-level relationships with top ISPs and telecom operators in India.

Network Depth: Deep technical proficiency in BGP routing, peering relationships, and traffic management policy and its direct impact on network performance and commercial metrics.
Crisis Leadership: Strong crisis management skills and demonstrated ability to lead urgent, cross-functional resolution efforts under intense pressure.
Strategic Partnership Acumen: Proven experience in building strategic business relationships with large Telcos or ISPs, including identifying and fostering potential joint go-to-market or channel opportunities.
What Makes This Role Exceptional
Strategic Growth Trajectory: Own the critical India market while rapidly growing your responsibilities to drive infrastructure strategy across the wider APAC, Middle East, and Africa regions.
Next-Gen Impact: Be the leader responsible for scaling Cloudflare's infrastructure, transitioning it from a high-capacity network to a next-generation compute and AI-ready platform.
Global Visibility: Drive real-time business outcomes with senior-level visibility and collaboration across global infrastructure and product teams.

We cannot complete our mission without building a diverse and inclusive team. We hire the best people based on an evaluation of their potential and support them throughout their time at Cloudflare. Come join us!
Available Locations: Austin, NYC, Lisbon, or London (Hybrid)
About The Role
You'll be responsible for two of Cloudflare's most critical database infrastructure products: Workers KV and Hyperdrive.
“KV” is a globally distributed key-value store that enables extremely high read volume workloads and low-latency (sub-10ms) retrievals at millions (and more) of RPS.
Hyperdrive is our distributed connection pooler and query caching service that supports querying Postgres and MySQL databases directly from Cloudflare Workers (using any off-the-shelf database driver). It's a key part of building full-stack applications on Workers and is the foundation of our future transactional database efforts and services.
This is a role with high agency and accountability: you'll be the sole PM for the products you're responsible for, and you'll work closely with your peers across the team to ensure we're shipping great developer experiences and not silos.
What You'll Do
Drive the strategy, roadmap & (most importantly) ship great products that help developers build reliable, high performance full-stack applications on Cloudflare.
Lead projects from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support
Develop and nurture relationships with engineering and coordinate closely to ensure successful delivery of product features
Talk to developers (probably the most important)! You'll need to be crafty and develop a playbook to find the right users to talk to. This might include diving into our BI tools to find specific cohorts that are worth talking to, engaging on our developer discord, or heading straight to Twitter or Hacker News to engage and build relationships with the community.
Partner with other departments such as Product Marketing, Marketing, Community & Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support to drive adoption with and gather feedback from customers and prospects
Ruthlessly prioritize across a complex environment of diverse customers, stakeholders and objectives
Represent the company externally as needed, including meetings with customers and prospects and analysis
Delve into market research to drive new investment opportunities in the developer space
Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience
You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and are able to work with a diverse group, get alignment, and drive the product forward. You are execution focused and emphasize getting things done while paying attention to important details.
A desire to sweat the details and ship great end-to-end developer experiences. APIs, UIs, docs: all of these are part of the product.
Proven track record of shipping developer-facing products from ideation to launch. You should know what it means to be a developer and what gets in the way of building production services.
A love for talking to developers at organizations both large and small on a daily basis so that you can build and ship products that solve real problems
Demonstrated experience with transactional databases (building on or building them directly), and a desire to become a domain expert in the space as quickly as humanly possible. You should want to understand Postgres' connection model vs. MySQL's process model, how replication works across different RDBMS', and get excited for every new Jepsen analysis.
A focus on the developer: you'll be working directly with customers, and often be a part of the customer's team in helping them get their initial implementation off the ground
BS/MS in a technology field
Professional productmanagement experience (3-4 years), previous founder experience or demonstrated experience on an engineering team shipping user-facing products.
Strong technical abilities. You should be intimately familiar with modern software development practices used to build and deploy applications. You are capable of wading into the details & understanding engineering decisions' impact on the product, but can also step back and take a 30k foot view.
Experience using developer tools: you should have a favorite text editor, be familiar with composing CLI tools, and be the first user of the products you're shipping.
Programming experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Go, etc.) and/or experience with SQL dialects.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $166,000 - $224,000
For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $192,000 - $213,000

About ProductManagement at Cloudflare
As a ProductManager at Cloudflare, you are responsible for building products that improve the way that the Internet works. ProductManagers at Cloudflare sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, create a launch plan with marketing, work with designers to conduct user research, prototype a new feature, iterate on a spec, analyze usage data, or pair with an engineer on implementation. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, feature specification, and working with engineering to develop our software.
About the role
As a ProductManager within the Application Performance team, you will own a critical part of our comprehensive platform that ensures web properties, applications, and networks are fast, reliable, and intelligent. This portfolio spans foundational capabilities like CDN optimization and Origin Shielding, advanced low-latency application delivery, and customer-facing data products built on real-world usage. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. We realize people do not fit into neat boxes. We are looking for curious and empathetic individuals who are committed to developing themselves and learning new skills, and we are ready to help you do that. We cannot complete our mission without building a diverse and inclusive team. We hire the best people based on an evaluation of their potential and support them throughout their time at Cloudflare. Come join us!
Available Locations: Austin TX, New York, NY
About the Role
Cloudflare has embarked on a transformation of our entire quote to cash process. We're looking for a seasoned productmanager who will take charge of these processes, providing leadership, communication and accountability for successful delivery. You will:
Own your space. You will manage a set of key products in the Quote to Cash lifecycle, directly impacting both internal and external customers around the world.
Work horizontally. Disparate groups like Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence and external vendors like Stripe and Salesforce all need to keep plans aligned and work together to deliver commitments.
Span timescales. Short term deliverables like supporting product launches, medium term ones like migrating billing progresses and longer term ones like a full ERP implementation all need to be serviced. The urgent cannot starve the important.
Span domains. You need to simultaneously let other teams rely on the roadmaps you publish while being responsive to the interrupt-driven nature of the business. When shifts do occur, you need to proactively communicate with other teams to maintain trust.
Commit to quality. Our #1 priority is to have an accurate picture of revenue and service of our customers but we also have numerous other concerns like speed of innovation and advancing the roadmap.
Communicate and collaborate. Essential to the success of this program is the ability to listen, learn, synthesize and communicate outwards as well as influence through persuasion.
Represent Cloudflare. Many of our largest customers want to speak to us about their concerns and our plans in the billing domain. You will spend time learning from them.
Provide and demand accountability. You are responsible for the delivery of your commitments and you will hold your peers and subordinates accountable for theirs.
Some of the domains you will touch include: Billing, Invoicing, Sales & Opportunity management, Credit & Collections, Pricing & Quoting, Contract & Entitlement Management, Partners & Resellers, Taxation, Bad debt, BI Reporting, ERP Implementation.
Desirable Skills
Demonstrated success delivering technology solutions in the Billing space
Knowledge of best practices for in fintech, financial reporting, compliance or other similar domain at a Saas company
Experience managing customer facing products focused on global payments, tax, checkout, invoicing, and other quote to cash activities
Bonus Points
Internet native companies tend to think a little differently than the Fortune 500. We'd love to meet folks with a history of delivering with the cadence and timescales of those born on the Internet.
Engineering fluency - while it's not required, we tend to find success with candidates who have a technical background, formal or otherwise. You don't need a CS degree but building credibility with our engineering teams is critical and so some history of technical acumen would be super helpful
Finance fluency - You're dealing with data that represents money and that implies a certain level of care. You'll also be working with a lot of finance types. Fluency in this world might be helpful
At Cloudflare it's pretty helpful to understand how the Internet really works at layers 2 through 7. If you don't have this, be prepared to speak with mastery about another realm of similar complexity.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $158,000 - $193,000

We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, feature specification, and working with engineering to develop our software.
About the Role: ProductManager, Cloudflare Radar
Cloudflare Radar provides free, publicly available insights into global internet traffic, security threats, and technology adoption, making the internet safer and more resilient for everyone.

Champion data-driven storytelling: Collaborate with our research, marketing, and communications teams to leverage Radar data for high-impact reports, blog posts, and press releases.
Excel across teams: Work with productmanagers across the company to surface, analyze, and publish data on specific security, performance, or adoption trends relevant to our product verticals.
Be data driven: You should be comfortable analyzing massive datasets to quantify the impact of problems, spot emerging trends, and measure the usage of new Radar features.
Join pre-sales and post-sales calls with customers, sales, support, etc., to assist with, and help understand all phases of the customer lifecycle (Focusing on how we can
inform
our customers and the public).

Customer Focus: Experience designing for a diverse audience, from individual hobbyists to large enterprise security teams and major news organizations.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Research, Communications) around a shared vision and roadmap without direct authority.

We cannot complete our mission without building a diverse and inclusive team. We hire the best people based on an evaluation of their potential and support them throughout their time at Cloudflare. Come join us!
Available Locations: Austin, Lisbon, and London
About The Role
We announced Cloudflare Workers in 2017 - since then it's played a key role in Cloudflare's strategy for entering the compute market. Until the launch of Workers, as Cloudflare was ramping up its capabilities in the performance and security spaces, it became clear that developers needed more ways to control the edge than rules engines could support.
Workers has grown from a simple functions-as-a-service option into a complete full-stack platform - and with this comes the need to support a broader set of Runtime APIs. This spans a wide range, from TC39 standards, to Node.js APIs, to web standards. We played a key role in forming WinterCG, and there's still much work to do to grow a shared base of APIs across runtimes - to push forward the ecosystem and ease the burden on open-source maintainers of supporting multiple runtimes.
What You'll Do
Drive the strategy and roadmap for JavaScript APIs in the Cloudflare Workers Runtime
Lead new APIs from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support
Guide teams both internal and external on developing new JavaScript APIs in Workers, including first-party Cloudflare products and external libraries seeking to increase compatibility
Develop and nurture key external relationships with open-source maintainers, and ensure their needs are heard and acted on
Partner with other departments such as Product Marketing, Marketing, Community & developer advocacy, Sales, and Customer Support to drive adoption with and gather feedback from customers and prospects
Ruthlessly prioritize across a complex environment of diverse customers, stakeholders and objectives
Represent the company externally as needed, including meetings with customers, speaking at external events, participating in WinterCG and more.
Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and are able to work with a diverse group, get alignment, and drive the product forward. You are execution focused and emphasize getting things done while paying attention to important details.
Proven track record of shipping developer-facing products from ideation to launch, 3+ years of professional experience working on technology products
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, the NPM ecosystem, and web standards. You have built things in JavaScript and enjoy immersing yourself in the JavaScript community, engaging with new standards, libraries, and frameworks
Developer focus - you'll be working directly, and often be a part of the customers team in helping them get their initial implementation off the ground
Strong technical abilities. You are intimately familiar with modern software development practices used to build and deploy applications. You are capable of wading into the details & understanding engineering decisions' impact on the product, but can also drive 30k foot view
A desire to sweat the details and ship great developer experiences
A love for talking to developers at organizations both large and small on a daily basis so that you can build and ship products that solve real problems.
Equity
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.

As a ProductManager at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for building products that improve the way that the Internet works. ProductManagers at Cloudflare shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, collaborate with marketing, work with designers to conduct user research, prototype a new feature, iterate on a spec, analyze usage data, and pair with an engineer on implementation.
We are seeking an innovative and customer-centric ProductManager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of Cloudy, our conversational AI agent. In this role, you will be at the forefront of changing how customers and security teams interact with our platform, transforming complex tasks into simple, conversational workflows. You will lead the development of Cloudy as a core platform technology, focusing on enabling other teams to innovate and build upon it. You will work horizontally across the product organization to provide robust tools, APIs, and services that expand our ecosystem's value. As a foundational pillar of this work, you will also own the core application security use cases: designing agent interactions for services like WAF to both simplify security operations and demonstrate the platform's power.
You will:
Own your space. You will own the priorities and scope for a high performing engineering team focusing on authentication.
Connect the pieces. Productmanagers are a nerve center at Cloudflare, responsible for connecting engineering, program management, marketing, revenue, and partners to make sure that our ships go out on time and with the maximum impact.
Excel across teams. Enterprise capabilities cut across all of our product verticals, so you should be comfortable working with productmanagers across the company to prioritize systemic improvements that our enterprise customers need.
Be customer obsessed. You will be responsible for directly engaging with customers and understanding how they use our products. You'll bring these insights back to the team to build a great roadmap.
Join pre-sales and post-sales calls with customers, sales, support, etc., to assist with, and help understand all phases of the customer lifecycle
Be data driven. You should be comfortable working with data, and analyzing data to quantify the impact of problems and opportunities in your space.
Key qualifications and skills
4+ years of experience as a productmanager, technical program manager, or equivalent delivering solutions in the cloud at scale for a technical audience
Customer focus. At Cloudflare, we serve the needs of customers large and small, and our productmanagers need to be comfortable understanding how to design for enterprises without compromising the experience for individuals and small businesses.
Technical Acumen and Domain Knowledge: The ability to grasp complex technical concepts, particularly in the security, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS space. You must be comfortable engaging in deep technical discussions with engineering teams.
Prompt Engineering and LLM Customisation: A practical, hands-on understanding of prompt engineering techniques or experience working with fine-tuning models for specific enterprise use cases. This demonstrates a deeper, more practical grasp of the underlying technology.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, other PMs) around a shared vision and roadmap without direct authority.
Data-Driven: You ground your decisions in data and qualitative user feedback, with a relentless focus on solving real-world problems for security operators and platform administrators.
Bonus points
Experience with Generative AI Products: Proven experience managing and shipping products powered by AI, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP). Direct experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and conversational interfaces is highly desirable.
Understanding of Enterprise Software - the products, the buyers, the opportunities and challenges specific to providing solutions to some of the largest companies in the world.
Platform and API-First Mindset: A strong understanding of platform dynamics, with experience defining requirements for APIs and services that serve multiple internal and external customers. You can think in terms of systems, not just features.
Zero-to-One Product Experience: Experience taking a brand new product from the initial concept phase all the way to a successful launch (0 to 1), especially within a larger organization, shows they can navigate ambiguity and build momentum from scratch.

About ProductManagement at Cloudflare
As a ProductManager at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for building products and workflows that help us improve the way the Internet works. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, collaborate with other PMs, conduct user research, prototype a new feature, iterate on a spec, analyze usage data, and pair with an engineer on implementation.
About the Role
As a SeniorProductManager for Developer Tools, your primary goal is to help improve the efficiency and happiness of Cloudflare's internal engineering teams. You'll work closely with a strong team of Engineers to build tools and processes that make developers' lives better.
You'll be responsible for the long-term strategy, roadmap, and delivery of internal developer tools and platforms. You will give our developers the firepower they need to improve the 20% of the web that runs on Cloudflare products. This includes areas such as:
Developer productivity: Identifying and removing friction in the development workflow-from code commit to production deployment
Developer insights and SDLC: Metrics, dashboards, and tooling that help teams understand their own velocity, quality, and bottlenecks
Developer infrastructure: Build systems, CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and deployment automation
AI-assisted development: Enabling engineers with AI tooling-code generation, automated code review, intelligent debugging, and workflow automation
Cloudflare on Cloudflare: Championing the use of our own customer-facing developer platform for internal use, and improving those products through dogfooding
Key Responsibilities
Own the DevTools roadmap: Define priorities, make tradeoffs, and maintain a clear view of what we're building and why.
Run discovery with engineering teams: Conduct regular research with internal developers to identify pain points, validate solutions, and measure adoption.
Define and track success metrics: Establish measurable outcomes for developer productivity initiatives-build times, deployment frequency, developer satisfaction, etc.
Write PRDs and specs: Author clear product documentation that frames the problem, success criteria, and constraints-while leaving room for engineering to determine the best approach.
Partner with engineering leadership: Collaborate on quarterly planning, staffing allocation, and cross-team dependencies.
Communicate across the org: Keep stakeholders informed on progress, decisions, and upcoming changes. Evangelize new tools and drive adoption.
Key Competencies
Problem-first thinking: You understand problems deeply before jumping to solutions. You bring the team along on the journey-sharing context, inviting input, and building shared understanding before arriving at a solution.
Outcomes orientation: You define success in terms of measurable impact, not activities or deliverables. You ask “How will we know it worked?” before building.
Cross-functional partnership: You collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and other product teams. You work well asynchronously and respect people's time.
Data-informed decision making: You use data to inform product decisions and measure impact-but you know when data is insufficient and judgment is required.
Technical credibility: You can hold your own in conversations with engineers about architecture, tradeoffs, and implementation approaches.
AI fluency: You actively use AI tools in your own work and stay current on how AI is changing software development. You can separate signal from hype and focus on what actually improves developer outcomes.
Clear communication: You write and speak with precision. You prefer outcomes over activities, and direct feedback over hedging.
Bonus Points
An engineering background or experience building software yourself. This gives you credibility with engineering teams and helps you understand their world.
Experience with developer productivity tools, build systems, or CI/CD pipelines-either as a PM or as a user.
Comfort with ambiguity. Internal platform work often lacks the clear market signals of customer-facing products. You'll need to define success criteria and prioritize without perfect information.
Experience thoughtfully applying Generative AI to improve developer workflows-not just hype, but real impact on efficiency or quality.
Familiarity with how the Internet works (layers 2-7). If not, be prepared to speak with depth about another domain of similar complexity.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Minnesota based hires: Estimated annual salary of $170,000- $208,000.
For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $192,000 - $204,000.
Equity
This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.

About ProductManagement at Cloudflare
As ProductManager for Cloudflare Spectrum, you will drive the strategy and roadmap for Cloudflare's industry-leading TCP/UDP proxy and Layer 4 security offering. Spectrum extends the power of our global network to protocols beyond HTTP/S, enabling customers to securely and reliably accelerate non-web applications like SSH, gaming servers, custom financial protocols, and IoT devices.
You will be responsible for identifying high-growth use cases, prioritizing features that enhance performance, security, and developer experience, and ensuring Spectrum remains the most flexible and robust solution for proxying arbitrary TCP/UDP traffic at scale.
About the role
As ProductManager on the Spectrum team, you'll help shape a key part of our core product experience. This role requires a candidate who can navigate complex technical domains-from TCP/IP protocols and caching architectures to data analytics and user experience-and translate those into clear, marketable features. You will define the roadmap for one or more core services that impact every byte of traffic processed by Cloudflare. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to leverage our massive network footprint and unique traffic insights to deliver features that fundamentally change how the internet operates, ultimately accelerating adoption for customers ranging from individual developers to the world's largest enterprises.

Be data driven. You should be comfortable working with data, and analyzing data to quantify the impact of problems and opportunities in your space.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

You will represent the "voice of the customer" to prioritize solutions and influence the direction of product development for our self-serve offerings.
Qualifications

What Makes Cloudflare Special?
We're not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company. We're a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company with a soul. Fundamental to our mission to help build a better Internet is protecting the free and open Internet.
Project Galileo: Since 2014, we've equipped more than 2,400 journalism and civil society organizations in 111 countries with powerful tools to defend themselves against attacks that would otherwise censor their work, technology already used by Cloudflare's enterprise customers--at no cost.
Athenian Project: In 2017, we created the Athenian Project to ensure that state and local governments have the highest level of protection and reliability for free, so that their constituents have access to election information and voter registration. Since the project, we've provided services to more than 425 local government election websites in 33 states.
1.1.1.1: We released 1.1.1.1 to help fix the foundation of the Internet by building a faster, more secure and privacy-centric public DNS resolver. This is available publicly for everyone to use - it is the first consumer-focused service Cloudflare has ever released. Here's the deal - we don't store client IP addresses never, ever. We will continue to abide by our privacy commitment and ensure that no user data is sold to advertisers or used to target consumers.
Sound like something you'd like to be a part of? We'd love to hear from you!
