Assists veterans with researching and accessing needed services including VA benefits, employment training/placement , educational support, counseling, housing, medical services and other public benefits such as health care services, daily living services, personal financial planning services, transportation, fiduciary and payee services, legal services, child care, housing counseling services, and temporary financial assistance.
Tracks and reports case management progress through case notes and conferences with Program Manager and coordinates with all funding sources.
Completes record keeping/documentation responsibilities and compiles data for monthly reporting into the agency database.

Develops and launches a patient engagement initiative, including outreach to de-stigmatize the utilization of counseling services, and works to enhance the "Culture of Care" and understands how to treat clients with dignity and respect, and de-escalate upset clients.
Responsible for maintaining minimum staffing 24/7 in order to assure client safety and adherence to state licensing requirements, including all critical staff on all shifts. Maintain a strict policy and practice of non-abandonment of client care, and acts as the final line of coverage in the event of unavailability of replacement staff.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in related field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology), Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of two years clinical, behavioral/mental health or substance abuse counseling required.

This position collaborates as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team within substance abuse treatment programs. The position provides guidance and counseling support as needed by overseeing and accompanying the patient in various program activities to ensure conformance with program schedules, standards, and policies.
We currently have the following shifts available:
Full Time, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)
Part Time, Saturday & Sunday, 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), or 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
The hourly base rate starts at $20.00 an hour.
There is a $2 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift and an additional $2 shift differential for weekends.
Per diems earn a flat rate of $25 per hour.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
Works with the patient and treatment team to develop substance abuse treatment goals and interventions, based on client's substance abuse/mental health history and current needs.
Provides support, resources, education, and both internal and external referrals for services.
Oversees client activities to ensure compliance with program activities and agency policies. Provides guidance as needed.
Facilitates psychoeducational client groups and group activities.
Provides crisis intervention and able to follow specific procedures in emergency situations.
Attends and participates in all meetings and maintains audit-ready patient records and program-specific forms in a timely manner, as required.
Completes individually assigned program-specific duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Associates degree, LADCII, or LADC Assistant highly preferred.
2+ Years experience or education in substance abuse treatment and mental health disorders required.
Yoga instruction, art therapy, or meditation training is strongly preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
Observe and support residents in taking medications as prescribed.
Directly connect residents with providers and prescribers to initiate or continue medications.
Work with pharmacies and providers to coordinate refills and prevent interruptions in treatment.
Assist with lab samples and facilitate provider communication as needed.
Monitor medication adherence and notify Program Director, Clinical Director, or designee of any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of medications stored, administered, returned, or disposed of.
Track medications in the possession of residents and the program, ensuring proper custody.
Ensure safe return or release of medications at discharge.
Dispose of expired or discontinued medications in compliance with BSAS, state, and federal regulations.
Witness and document medication disposal on a regular schedule.
Ensure the medication refrigerator is in working condition and temperatures are recorded daily.
Check and replace expired facility-supplied medications, including first aid kits and naloxone (Narcan) rescue kits.
Maintain and organize the medication storage area.
Stock the medication room with required supplies (cups, counting trays, spatulas, etc.) and ensure supplies are cleaned regularly.
Orient new residents to the program's medication policies and procedures.
Coordinate annual naloxone training for staff and ongoing education on medication management, including scheduling external trainers as needed.
Document all medication-related activities accurately and timely.
Report medication errors, incidents, or concerns to supervisors and regulatory authorities (BSAS and others) as required.
Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and technical assistance provided by BSAS or partner agencies.

Essential Responsibilities:
Food Service:
• Responsible for in the preparation and cooking of hot and/or cold foods, as well as line service. Assists in the coordination of food preparation and cooking for special events as needed.

This case manager position is part of the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant (SPGP). The SPGP Case Manager is responsible for delivering supportive services to veterans who are at high risk of suicide and reducing the barriers to mental health and VA access among veterans at risk. This position will also provide case management and outreach services to assist veteran clients and their families enrolled in Veterans Inc Programs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
Intake and assessment, problem identification, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, continuum of care, evaluation and follow-up.
Provides case management services to a caseload of veterans who are identified as high risk for suicide. This includes meeting with the veteran, developing individualized service plans, collaboration and coordination with programs within the VA, and connections to community based resources when appropriate.
Provides follow-up phone calls with Veterans who called the Veterans Crisis Line. The content of these calls can include clinical support, coordination with VA services, assistance enrolling in VA healthcare, providing community based resources, and support to family members of Veterans.
Provide suicide prevention consultation services and education on suicide prevention best practices to VA providers.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelors degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in case management, substance abuse prevention, outreach, and/or services to the homeless or veteran populations.

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the internal and external upkeep, repair, and planned management of all Father Bill's & Main Spring owned or operated properties throughout the south shore. Maintain the upkeep of property grounds (i.e., mowing, snow removal, shrub/plant care).

Pick up and deliver of donations and furniture to properties as needed.

Clean and repair units as needed for property turnover.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration or other related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience coordinating construction, renovation, or facilities improvement projects.

Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25/50/80 pounds occasionally

We provide client-centered care and recovery-oriented treatment within a therapeutic environment. We are looking for innovative staff for our newly licensed Women's Residential Rehabilitation Services (RRS) Program, which is open to both veterans and the community.
We are looking for a goal oriented, skilled, and hardworking professional to fill the role of Substance Abuse Counselor. The primary goal of this position is to provide support and substance abuse counseling services to substance abuse treatment program patients to help ensure that the major objectives of their treatment are attained. This position works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide clients with necessary program information, and is responsible for providing clients with direct individual and group counseling, education, clinical or case management services to assist clients with treatment plans and goals.
We have one full time position Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm. All full-time Substance Abuse Counselors must work one full weekend per month. The rate for this position is $30.04/hour.
We currently have Part Time, Saturday through Sunday, shifts available. The rate for this position is $28.84/hour.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
Performs intake, evaluation, orientation, admissions, treatment planning, counseling, documentation, discharge planning and referral of substance abusing clients. Assesses all new intakes to determine presence and extent of substance abuse issues and mental health illness; completes evaluation report.
Assists client through individual, group, substance use or mental health use disorder counseling.
Develops and documents individualized treatment plans that address the needs of substance abuse client population. Collects statistics as required for reports; prepares required reports and paperwork and maintains audit ready client files.
Refers clients to appropriate treatment modality based on assessment. Recommends treatment plans for clients to program manager and criminal justice officials.
Develops and facilitates process groups and educational programs.
Ensures compliance with legal issues including but not limited to client confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Attends and participates in all meetings as required.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field from an accredited institution. Master's degree in related field highly preferred.
Certification in alcohol and drug counseling, LADC I or II preferred.
Experience or education in substance abuse treatment and mental health disorders required. 2+ years of experience working in substance abuse treatment/mental health disorders is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of military culture, experience in working with veteran population and an understanding of veterans-related needs and issues preferred.

The Clinical Manager of the men's Residential Rehabilitation Services (RRS) program is responsible for providing clinical supervision to the RRS program staff. This position is responsible for reviewing and participating in treatment planning and follow-up with client care services. The qualified candidate must have team-building and leadership skills, management experience, substantial training in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and provides clinical supervision and leadership of designated staff.
Responsible for oversight and assisting RRS program staff with treatment planning, patient assessments, and staff development of evidence-based practices and psychosocial approaches.
Assists Program Manager with developing a strategic plan to implement a comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment program.
Assists with developing the policies and procedures that will support the program and reflect the agency's philosophy and objectives.
Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and Business Department to ensure all program standards are met to maintain licensure by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, compliance with BSAS Standards of Care, CARF Behavioral Health accreditation, and the standards set by the VA.
Works in Collaboration with Human Resources to coordinate training for staff as needed to support program needs and provide education regarding psychotherapeutic techniques and evidence-based treatment practices.
Assists Program Manager with identifying mental health and substance use assessment tools and how they should be administered.
Responsible for supervision of medical observation documentation and MAT and psychiatric services while patients are in the program.
Assists with developing and launching a patient engagement initiative, including outreach to de-stigmatize the utilization of counseling services, and works to enhance the "Culture of Care" and understands how to treat clients with dignity and respect and de-escalate upset clients.
Assists with establishing a Medication Management Team and the processes by which they will support clients.
Increases education, screening, care coordination, risk reduction interventions, and counseling for patients with or at risk of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other diseases associated with opioid use disorders.
Provides required documentation and timely reports (including narratives and data reports) as needed.
Along with the Program Manager, assists with facilitating staff meetings and assists with staff recruitment efforts.
Responsible for maintaining minimum clinical staffing 24/7 in order to assure client safety and adherence to state licensing requirements, including all critical staff on all shifts. Also, maintains a strict policy and practice of non-abandonment of client care and acts as the final line of coverage in the event of unavailability of replacement staff.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
LADC 1 required. LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred.
Documented supervisory/management experience.
Documented experience working with adult mentally ill and substance abuse disorder population and clients with trauma histories.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
Documented experience working within an inpatient treatment center or human service setting.
Experience using electronic medical records desirable.
