Check all finished products for proper pallet usage, correct number per code date, proper slot placement, and correct pallet sheets.

The Assistant Production Supervisor will direct and motivate the production team members, and assist in maintaining uniform production of safe, quality products at the lowest cost. This position will be required to work Saturdays and as a vacation fill in as needed. In the absence of the Production Supervisor, this incumbent must be able to run the production line and ensure that an adequate number of trained team members are on the line to produce hamburgers, while also making sure team members follow company GMP's, SQF, HACCP and all food safety regulations. What we are looking for
This position must be flexible to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the plant and be available to work on Saturdays as a vacation fill in where needed;
Associate College Degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required;
Prior experience working on a manufacturing food production line;
Prior Supervisory experience dealing with team member concerns while maintaining professionalism and working as a team;
Knowledge of how all production equipment operates (including the ERP system) and ability to function efficiently at any of the line positions;
Directing and motivating team members and ensuring everyone follows our Values and Behaviors;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Calmness under pressure and handling the stress associated with issues/problems;
May be required to work some Saturdays and/or Sundays based on the needs of the plant; and
Standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
What you will do
Continual monitoring of floor which includes equipment, product, and team members to ensure that production runs smoothly; this includes working the line during breaks and lunches;
Oversee the set up and shut down of the production equipment and raw materials at the beginning and end of the production shift, following established procedures;
Schedule and oversee the training of new team members; both WCD and temporaries;
Supervise team members to ensure they know and follow all policies, procedures, SOP's, and GMP's, while complying with all established safety guidelines. Assume responsibilities of Production Supervisor in their absence;
Check all finished products for proper pallet usage, correct number per code date, proper slot placement, and correct pallet sheets.

Assists the General Manager in developing the restaurant team succession and bench strength utilizing the Company's internal development processes to ensure operational standards and team performance.
SALES:
Works directly with the General Manager in building professional business relationships and partnerships within the community. Seeks to build in-house and off-premises sales executing approved marketing plans and operations under the direction of the General Manager.
PROFIT:
Assists the General Manager with impeccable integrity by maintaining, utilizing, and enforcing effective management practices, policies, controls, tools, and systems that enhance efficiency and productivity, minimize waste and loss, and promote a safe, secure work environment for Guests, Team Members and Investors alike.

● Assist the General Manager with planning and implementation of multiple strategies and tasks simultaneously while directed by the General Manager. For example: required checklists, daily line checks, and routine maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Minimum Age: 18 years of age.
Experience and Training:
External Candidates: Minimum 1-year previous Assistant Manager experience required. Fast casual/quick service experience preferred, but not required.
Internal Candidates: 6 months of experience as a successful Fazoli's Associate Trainer on the recommendation of your current General Manager. Development readiness checklist completed.
All Candidates: Must complete all required Fazoli's training and certifications including SERV Safe.
Must be available a minimum of 30 hours per week, unless you are enrolled in school. A leave of absence request will be required.
Must submit to a routine and periodic background, motor vehicle report, and reference checking processes.
