2000

According to Forbes, it is considered one of the top 2000 largest public companies in the world.

2005

An industrial alliance is formed with General Motors that would be dissolved in 2005.

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is named "North American Car of the Year."

2009

The integration between Fiat and Chrysler took place in the year 2009; post Chrysler filing for bankruptcy reorganization (Chapter 11) on 30th April 2009.

2016

On 3 January 2016, the group separated Ferrari S.p.A. from FCA, and Ferrari became a separate investment of Exor.

2016 is a very active year on the product front, including the Group’s entry into six new product segments: Maserati launches its first-ever SUV, the Levante.

2018

Alfa Romeo announces its return to Formula 1 for the 2018 championship season, after more than 30 years away from the sport.

2019

In December 2019, FCA and Groupe PSA agree to a 50/50 merger that will create a leading global mobility company.

2020

2021

On 4 January 2021, FCA and Groupe PSA approved the merger and the deal was completed on 16 January 2021.
